I have experienced this strange thing before and I managed to solve this issue. Here is what happened and how I solved this problem.
When I finished writing my blog post
For my case, it was due to a plugin called Autoptimize. But this plugin is updated and doesn't cause this issue anymore. You may encounter the same issues caused by other plugins if you use many plugins.

Comments are enabled by default, so if your readers are unable to comment on your blog, some things may be causing this:
Are comments enabled on your blog? Go to Settings → Discussion in your blog’s dashboard and check to see if there’s any blog misconfiguration that can be causing this.
Are comments enabled in your post? Comments can be enabled or disabled for specific posts or pages, so edit the post your readers are trying to comment and check if it’s allowing comments;
Is your blog automatically closing comments on old articles? By default, all blogs are set up to automatically close comments on articles older than 60 days, so this can be happening.
If you’ve cleared all these steps and people are still saying they can’t reply to your posts, they’ll probably referring to our Mozilla Person feature, which requires an email verification.

l know your question was/is about traffic.But something else, l visited your site,although you almost don't have affiliate links,you have too much links in your posts.
In one post l counted 17 links internal and external,this is too many.Not only that,some sites you linked to lead to 404(not found)
There are enough affiliate products in this niche,you can also find products in Clickbank.
Now to traffic,are you active in any forums and social media?4 months is not long,give it time things will work out.

I am not active in any forum because I am still searching for active forums that are related to my niche.
But I am active in social media, especially for twitter. I tweet once every day, which is about my site or current trending topics like Olympiad.
I will keep working because you and other's feedbacks clear my doubt on my site!

I also use SumoMe. Previously I only used WA keyword tool and now I try to use Jaaxy to see if that help me out.
Your website looks nice and the articles are nicely presented so you have no issue there. I counted your posts listed under categories and it's at 18. So it's still very early days for you really, high traffic sites have 100's of posts with a large social media following.
Just keep doing what you're doing, keep posting and stay active on social media and the traffic will start to grow over time :)

You did not say if you are ranked or not.
Make sure that your targeted keywords make sense and that they have some traffic and monthly searches. Then target as low QSR as possible to get ranked. If you are nor ranked you will not have traffic.

Same exact thing happened to me today! I received the same exact email you did and I just signed up a few days ago and didnt do anything wrong. I am waiting on a response back from them, but I am sure it will be the response you got, now that I saw this post. Makes no sense. Unbelievable.
I received the notice of termination shortly after signing up with Rakuten. There is no longer any access for me to delete my personal information I have submitted. I was not even promoting any affiliate links yet. Very suspicious behavior on Rakuten's part. Seems they are just collecting information from people, and who knows what they are doing with it!!

I don't have any copied blog post on my site (http://icanrelievemystress.com). The parts that may seem as "copied content" are my citations. Because I will use information from authorities like government departments and professional bodies in my post. When I use their contents, I will give credit to them.
Am I doing it right about this?
Apparently Linkshare thought it was an issue. What you can do in the future is rather than put the information directly on the website, create a link to the website article/information. That's external linking and shouldn't create an issue.
