As you continue on your journey in the blogging world, at some point you will cross paths with some who inspires you. That special person will teach you and guild you along to becoming successful in your business. He or she will become your mentor.

Finding the perfect mentor isn't just any random person you find off the internet. It's not even that successful person in your niche.

Many people will appear the be the perfect mentor's prospect, but with a deeper investigation, you will discover that they won't lead you down the right path. Why? because they might not want to be bothered or they might be miserable in their niche.

When you're looking for the perfect mentor, look for three things about them.

  • They have a lot successful experience: How long have they been in the field, they have the proven experience under their belt. They have been where you are today, They have done what you're doing today. Their mentor advice comes from the successful wealth experience.
  • They Love What They Do: As strange as it may be, most people who are successful at the things they do, but they might not truly love what they doing. In fact, they might lead you on the road to success, but that road might lead to same pitfalls they went through. With that said this can bring discouragement.
  • They are willing to help out: Some people who listen to the idea but don't act on them. Some people who know how to become successful, but have no interested in helping others along the way. Then you have some people that have the perfect way, but never offer you any guidance you need to get started.

The part of being a good student is to have the right mentor who is willing to help you every step of the way.

Find the perfect mentor is not an easy task, look for the three main attributes when choosing the right person.

Have a prosperous week my WA Freinds

Great post Anthony - and a good measure of who we should be looking for. I really enjoy your blogs :0)

Cheers
Rod

Hey Thanks Rod, I'm glad you stopped bye

That's one of the best posts I have come across in quite a few weeks. As many awesome people that have helped me and as many that I have helped, I have found many WA members here at the WA that fit one, two but never all three parts to this bill. I find myself also only fitting only two parts. There are lots willing to help and there are lots that love doing what we do here at the WA and the one's thing that I AM having a hard time filling in myself and in others is that successful wealth experience. So maybe I am looking at things the wrong way? So what would be the definition of Successful wealth experience? I know I don't have that yet, I have encountered and beaten many little hiccups but I would definitely say that I do not fit that attribute, so who or what kind of person would fit that part? Great post-Anthony, I am really starting to dig your posts as it does seem we see down the same path, Keep them coming, my friend.

Hey DK, Thanks my friend, in the years of internet marketing and trying to build business correctly I need mentors to help me accomplish what I'm looking for in journey. These are things I've learn to look for and really want to let beginners know what to look for in mentors. There are some really good members inside WA that fit all the attributes. Finding them is the challenge.

Agreed, everyone seems to only have 2 of 3 attributes but that's probably due to the fact that everyone is still learning, not that we ever stop but ....?.....I hope you know what I am getting at here. So you sort of have to have a little black book with everyone's strong point. One might be web design, another SEO, you-real world inspiration, me-attention to detail etc... Like I notice you have a lot of missing words in sentences which would mean either, English is your second language or you are like me and can not put internal conversation into text conversation via poor typing skills. I discovered an extension or app you can download called Grammarly. They have a free BETA version which works really well but being a BETA version does glitch about 2% of the time but the glitches anyone can catch. Having correct spelling, grammar & punctuation just gives you that much more professionalism. You also get a weekly report to track your goals and learn where you have to work on your weaknesses. Here's a link.

Hope this helps you out and improves your writing strength on this great blog entries.

Thanks for these points Tony,
I'll be on the lookout.
We have plenty of mentors here at WA!

Absolutely Juliet thanks for stopping bye

That's absolutely right

Thanks Mob2dream

That's right, Anthony. I want to add something more to it and that is their motive to help you. Do they help you for the money in the first place or do they help you because they love helping people to grow?

You're absolutely hit the nail on the head Nelson thanks my friend
