Hi, I used to be able to click "New Media" in a WP post, and the pics will be uploaded, and showing. But now, "The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/...". says a p
I just encountered the exact same problem and submitted a ticket to Site Support.
Were you able to sort this out?
Could it be possible that your photo was copywrited or protected and therefore might not be loading because of that? Also, I once had this problem because I had Ad Blocker enabled in Google, some of my photos disappeared because of that. If you don't have an Ad Blocker, then try another photo, making sure that you pick one that you are sure isn't a copywrited one, like from Pixabay, and others.
Thanks for the feedback, Maddy. I'm not sure that's it, unfortunately, because some of the pics are my own. WP just suddenly changed from one mode to the other.
ok so the photos are your own, that definitely leaves out copyright. If it's not something obvious, I would go to WA Support. Be prepared to take screen shots. Sometimes when I have loaded photos into my Media library, they don't show when try to access them right away. What has worked for me in that case is to refresh the page, that little half circle arrow on your upper left of your screen. After that I try again, and it has always worked. You have to remember that you can't upload directly into your post, you have to upload the photos into your library first and then take the photos from there.

Wp won't load new media into a post. how to fix this?
