Who you should follow within WA!

Hey, guys

Today I am going to give my opinion on a subject that I have seen quite a few people ask lately.

Who to follow at WA.

Let's get into it.

When you follow people here they are added into your network, and you need to build a network of people not only in WA but in your niche too.

So the best people to follow is... Well, Everyone.

Why?

Because in life you need 3 sets of people.

People who are below your level so that you can help and inspire them, for example, most of us newbies and even some people who have been here for a while are under the level of expertise of Carson and Kyle.

Well, look at what WA is. They are helping and inspiring us to reach their level.

Next you need people who are on your level.

Now anyone, of course, can be your friend, but this category of people will most likely be your main friends. That's not the case for everyone of course.

Anyways, people on the same level as you will have the drive and compassion to keep you motivated and you guys can also do a lot of collabs to help each out. <- Well you can do that with anyone, but you get what I mean.

Lastly, you need people above you in your network of people.

These will be your mentors. The people that will help and inspire you to reach their level.

Some WA members have seen success online and they want to pay-it-forward by helping others to reach their level, that why you will see people here helping others because it's a nice thing to do.

Alright, that's who I think you should follow at WA. Everyone because you can offer something to everyone and vice versa.

Share your opinions down below and until next time,

P.S I want to leave you today with a great quote that I like :)

Peace

-Anthony

Alright Anthony are you sure you're are not at least forty something?
Where did you find all this wisdom. Did you rob the wisdom bank?

Haha, unless my mum has been lying to me about when I was born then no I am still just 18 xD

I learned a lot of things this past year from reading books and watching online talks from investors and some big business people.

I have also learned a lot from people within this community :) If it weren't for you guys I don't know what I would be doing right now.

Great Blog, indeed you need those 3 kinds of people...
But a small question on the side: What do you do with people in your network that are not motivated anymore or even negative?
Would you take action?

Also very nice quote!

Grtz,
Bert

I would speak to them, and ask why they are feeling the way they are and give them the advice to improve. I am guilty of this, but everyone at some point doubts themselves.

The difference is that successful people take that doubt and turn into their motivation to prove themselves wrong.

I completely agree with your answer, but when I would have the feeling that it affects my thinking (negative of course) then I would delete them from my group.

And when you are able to turn doubt into motivation, then you have a super strong mindset I think. Still something to learn for me... :-)

Then you are already on a very good track with your doubts!

If someone is being negative to bring others down then yeah delete them, but sometimes people are negative because that's their way of crying for help :)

I kind of use my own doubts as motivation to prove myself and everyone who doubts me wrong, but I am still learning to do that more often :)

I just saw a quote in a blog here from Arsenal's manager and here it is :)

When you look at people who are successful, you will find that they aren't
the people who are motivated, but have consistency in their motivation
- Arsene Wenger

I agree with that. Some people, however, need the help from others to keep that consistency :)

Yeah totally, but I will help others, but I first help myself in that consistency... That is something I learned the last years, you can help people so much, that you loose your own track

I just reacted on that post where that quote was at the top... ;-)

That is true, thanks for reminding me :P

Hi Anthony, I love the quote. I must say for me, I tend to look at a profile and if I find it interesting and I feel a connection, those are the people I tend to follow. Apart from that, I follow newbies because they need to be encouraged and welcomed. Ches

I understand where you are coming from :) Glad you like the quote :)

Well Said!

Thanks xD

Thanks Anthony,
I agree with you that we need to follow a variety of people for the exact reasons you stated above.
Thanks for sharing and caring!
Sheila :)

No problem, Sheila :) Glad you agree with me.

Thanks Anthony for the blog, and that's a really good quote :)

Thanks, My friend. Glad you liked my blog :)

Great blog, love the quote!

It's a very good quote and a lot more people should hear it and learn from it :)

Have a good day, James.

I read that along time ago and have adapted that to my life! We travel but its not a vacation, it's just part of life itself!

I agree with you on that one :)

I used to play team sports quite a bit and was quite competitive. I also played racquetball and competed in several tournaments. One thing my coach would do is put me up against a component that was better than me. I disliked this, because invariably I would lose each game. But, the theory behind it was that it made me BETTER.

One thing I have learned in my diverse background.... there will always be someone that knows more! Learn from them.

Conversely......

When I'm teaching someone something I already know, it RE-ENFORCES that concept within me. Teaching allows me to know the topic better!

So, I totally agree with you Anthony. There are so many diverse people within this outstanding community and we can all learn from each other..... either in a mentor capacity or teaching capacity, we both still learn.

Well done, my friend!
Cheers!
pj

Perfectly said PJ, I couldn't agree with you more :) Teaching others can keep you on your toes within your niche :)

Great post, I especially like the Seth Godin Quote, it truly says it all, it's just like the majority of us saying TGIF. We should love what we do so much that we want to do it every day

GE

Exactly :) I love doing this so much that I work on it no matter what day it is :)

Great quote, and lovely blog Anthony:)

I learn everyday something new Anthony:)

Thank you, Loes :) I do think that you should follow as many people as you can and just build a little community within this huge one. Because everyone can offer something to you.

That's the best way to live, I think it was Warren Buffet that said "Always go to sleep a little smarter than when you woke up."

I know I get tons of email notifications:)
