My Journey Into Affiliate Marketing
Hi everyone, I'm Annette. So my journey began about four months ago. I work as a Realtor full-time here in Michigan and was really just looking for new and less expensive ways to market my services online. That lead me to research internet marketing to see if i could incorporate some of their strategies into my own business.
As I dug deeper, I realized that there was some potential here and that there are quite a few people earning very good income. As an aside, I started to get my 21 year old daughter interested in starting an online business. I figured this was a very good hands on way of teaching her some of the in's and out's of running a business.
Both my husband and I are entrepreneurs. We got started as real estate investors back in 2011 and continually build our portfolio over the years. We now have 10 properties generating passive income for us. Getting a real estate license just seemed like the natural thing to do.
So, out of three children, two went the college route and one decided to blaze her own trail. She's my "free bird" and reminds me of myself in some ways. Anyway, she was also the only one who showed an interest in entreprenuership. So we both jumped in together.
We started with John Crestani's Internet Jetset, that lead to MOBE (My online business education) which we loved but has was shut down in June until the FTC investigates it and the founders of MOBE jump through a series of legal hoops to prove their legitimacy. Over the last two months, we built our site Vividreamliving.com and I've given my daughter the bulk of the responsibility of posting regularly, instagram and now YouTube, which I literally just set up.
Well, it was my husband who found WA and I'm so glad he did! I'm happy to be here. My real estate business is my first priority but I do make every effort to get something done here. I've nearly completed the bootcamp training but kind of stuck on putting together the review post.
It's a long haul. I understand that. Most things worth having take time. However, using the Law of Attraction has brought some pretty amazing things into our lives! No doubt about it. I'll write again more regularly as I go along. Love your comments and feedback. Thanks! Annette
