As I am going through the lessons, I feel like I am getting a bit stuck within my niche and feel as though it is something I won't be able to get very far with! I am feeling a b

I know that this post is a bit old, but perhaps this might help you out.

Hi, AnnaMariiee, how is the site working for you. I am currently working on starting a game review site for XBOX 360 only. Any tips on writing game reviews?

Hi Jonathan, I left you a PM...Nobody seems home here.

Hi, Annamariiee, people love video games, computer based games etc. They love to read reviews of the new games and they search for games that are out of date. They love to find hints of how to get through places where they are stuck. I think you have an unlimited audience with passion to follow a site that is well done. Go for it! I think you will do well as you release your creativity.

Video games are an ever growing market. These days moms and toddlers are playing Candy Crush all day long. With mobile games on the rise, console gaming is only 40% of the current market... but I don't necessarily think that means that console games will die. They will evolve... and having a site that is able to keep up with gaming news and provide relevant information will always be in style.

In a way to think "outside the box"... look to www.cheapassgamer.com - they promote gaming deals. Ultimately a resource for buying games at the best value. They also have a very active forum that keeps members engaged.

I personally love video games and wish that I had more time to play them. Look forward to seeing how your site grows. Good luck!

I love video gaming, too! It's a passion of mine that I plan to add to my site as well! Good luck with it and I can't wait to see how it turns out!

Thanks!!!! I'll definitely keep everyone updated. I'll get out of this stuck in the mud moment soon. Good luck with your site as well. :)

You will be fine...just remember, it takes time. If you have any questions shoot me a message.

Hey thank you! I really appreciate that.

I bought my nephew, who is 14 a domain name. he loves minecraft... I was jacked to see how he took something as simple as minecraft and made it into a full fledged site. www.saxguy99.com . You really need to start by weeding out anyone else's site and think outside the box. Gaming is huge , but it does have a huge following. So your goal is to set yourself apart from the rest. As far as vintage games there is a large following. I asked my son and he said one thing he loved about gaming sites is the flashy graphics and he loves gaming trailers. Just food for thought.

I wish I was more creative lol! Thinking outside the box has always been a challenge for me. Right about it having a huge following, I guess I am letting that deter me a bit which I shouldn't because I really am passionate about this and want to see it succeed. Vintage games are always fun, I don't know any one person who doesn't like a good vintage game.
Game trailers and flashy graphics, usually gets my attention as well. I'll have to keep that in mind. Thank you so much for your input. It is so much appreciated!

ok, but the big question is you have a passion for gaming correct?

I do! I love games, it has taken a backseat as of lately but I do love it.

What is your domain?

www.arcadly.com

It literally has nothing on it yet. Lol
