Changing Things Up

Okay, SO I've decided to change up my website a little.

I took off at a good start with my original purchased domain, but then it all came to a sudden jolt. I lost focus a bit and kind of stumped myself as to where to go from there. I enjoyed that niche, but I soon came to realize I only had so much to say about it until I ran dry on quality topics and ideas.

One thing I learned from this experience so far is to assure that I'm not just "semi confident" with the topic. Some things are a little harder to put into words than they are to run thru your mind.

I first thought, "this is going to be the perfect niche for me! It has to work out". Come to realize I got a little ahead of myself with it. I thought of a topic that interested me, but before I actually thought about it, I just continued with my site.

My purpose of this post is more of a lesson learned and maybe for you to learn from my mistakes. I do believe tho some of the best lessons in life are the ones from experience! I'm very thankful for you all here in the WA community! I wanted to share my experience with you all.

Best of luck to you all,

Anna

It's okay to move to something that works better for you! There are so many niches out there and now you have a better idea of what to look for in one. I'm the same way and have left a few niches that just didn't gel over time.

Yes that is so true!!

01: I remember reading someone's post (I don't recall who) and there was a list of 20 to 30 different niches that (from what I understand) was not successful.

02: I also remember what Kyle is about "that your first niche probably won't be the last one. Okay, so it didn't work for you today or this week.

03: Its estimated that the average brain has up to 50,000 thoughts a day and 70% of them are believed to be negative. Just how many ideas for your next niche or niches is up to you.

04: YOU ARE THE CAPTAIN of your own ship. So Cap, set of new course for your next one!!

Great info!! Thank you! I do believe it, many thoughts cross my mind. It’s up to me to pick the greatest! Thank you!

Thanks for posting such an open and honest post, I think it probably happens more then we know, it happened to me as well. However, I didn't scrap the first site, just put it on the back burner in case the inspiration hits me again.
