How do I know for sure I have cancelled my membership? I still receive emails and have access to the site.
Once you cancel you will still have access to the site until your next renewal date, which of course will not happen because you canceled.
As for the emails go to your account settings and there you will see where you can remove yourself from all future mailings - simply uncheck each box.

I'm not completely sure, but I think after you cancel your membership there is a certain amount of time, perhaps 30 days where you can still access your site etc. It gives you time to transfer any blog posts or saved information across to another site or hosting. If you go into your profile and choose account settings, then subscription settings, it should tell you under the membership tab when your next payment is due. It might tell you in this section if you have cancelled. If not, maybe send a question to support. Sorry to see you go, best of luck with everything.
