Hi WA'ers

Remember that Negative Wealthy Affiliate review ranking number one on Google?

The Author decided to make the review more honest by getting a premium account for himself and try things out.

Now he's promoting Wealthy Affiliate.

Now that he rewrote his Wealthy Affiliate review I agree 100% with him as I also don't like how some members promote WA.

Now I feel bad for newbies that missed a great opportunity like WA believing it's a scam.

Wish everyone is having a great day!

Anis

HAHAHA!!! The truth always come to light!

I'm certain that if WA is "right" for someone, they will find their way back, regardless of the obstacles that may have been put in front of them. It could be a friend that redirects them, taking a 2nd look or something else that leads them back to WA.

Hi Anis. This hits upon a thought that I have had from time to time. Reading reviews online is a double-edged sword. If the review is good - how do you know if the person was "paid" to write a good review? And if the review is bad - how do you know if the person just has a vendetta going on? Though, I do rely on the reviews that I find on Amazon. My experience has been that they are pretty accurate. But, when it comes to reviews about "money-making offers", It gets a bit more tricky because that seems to be where a lot of scams are found. One beautiful thing about Wealthy Affiliate is that they have a free program. Once the person gets here, they will be sold!

I just read the review which was so negative previously. It is a remarkable turnaround! Just read it and don't miss the few comments at the end. It is instructive to me, being a beginner here.

Thanks for the discussion, Anis.

You're headline threw me and it skipped to your previous posts. I thought it had been taken down as unorthodox!

lol this has happened to me before with other blogs

Thanks for sharing Anis.

It was only a few days ago I read his old review and felt really disappointed by some of the lies he was sharing. But I totally understood where he was coming from in regards to some WA members reviewing products and calling it a scam with no real solid reason, but like you've said, I was disspointed with the other things he said that were definitely not true.

I'm glad he made the choice to actually go through the program, and it was interesting to see how his review was totally different. It goes to show that WA provides a really valuable platform.

However, I hope his old review encourages some members to rethink how they review other IM and Affiliate marketing products as I also feel there are definitely some good programs out there which are being labeled as scams.

It's was fair comment, that standard review practice on WA affiliate sites is to slam everything except WA and Jaaxy. That was more just observation than unwarranted criticism! And given that practice, it was kinda amusing to see everyone lose their shit for the guy just daring to express an opinion!

Now if you'll excuse me, there's a new product release on Clickbank I haven't bought or tried, that I have to warn people off in a thin content review in order to get them to my WA recommendation via the keyword click bait of the product's name :)

LOL :=)

Yeah, I read it and the comments that accompanied it.

I'm commenting on his criticism of the WA affiliate's tendency to bash everything not WA and Jaaxy, which as I say, I believe was fair comment and something I've noted myself.

The upshot of that practice is that it makes the glowing reviews for WA and Jaaxy look every bit as fake and scammy amidst the trashing of everything else; not everything but WA can be worthless surely?!

I don't think WA is a scam, but I'm not going to crucify the man for expressing an opinion, not when the whole of the WA bootcamp course is doing the said same thing. And it was true what he said, that it's hard to find an honest review of WA because of the saturation of WA affiliate sites.

Is it hard to find an honest review, or do you mean a negative review? Maybe you can't find negative reviews because WA is exactly what it says it is, and you can take it or leave it, no harm, no foul. I searched deep before signing on.

Perhaps a better adjective is "balanced." When I first went looking for reviews on WA, WA affiliate sites dominated the results list. All laid out with the same formulaic header, marketing text and pics - as is my own formulaic "#1 Recommendation."

The only attempt I found at a balanced discussion was on a forum, wherein a member asked for opinions on WA as he/she was considering joining. As I recall, it got some mixed, but generally positive responses, and one contributer quipped that the question had been asked before and just wait till the WA drones flood in to say how great it is... which then proceeded to happen as if on cue for the next few pages.

To be honest, at the time, I took it as a good thing, that so many were willing to leap to the defence of WA and sing its praises.

But having been a member here now for some months, while I like the service, I don't consider it some life-changing catalyst and the be-all and end-all of IM - and have no intention of pretending it is like some cult devotee!

Which was another fair criticism that was made of the reaction of some elements within the WA community, and one I've commented on myself previously.

Yeah, he was bashing WA without having tried it. The irony was hilarious, and I think that was his point. He was giving WA a taste of its own medicine.

Yeah, am loving the moral outrage to that, like WA members are above that sort of thing :) The reaction completely disproved the the cult-like accusation anyway... :)

That was 100% my point, I think a few people got it, but I truly hope it inspires others to be more honest and upfront with their reviews.

I actually like WA, I think it's a GREAT platform for newbies from what I've seen of it so far. I hope my controversial review inspired others to be more honest about how they do things.

Anyways all, take care :)

Jeff

You made a very good point, and I agree with you. The bootcamp course encourages us to write negative reviews of other products in order to promote WA. I was doing that myself for a while, but I don't want to do it anymore. From here on out I am going to actually try other products and write only honest reviews.

I think WA is a good place for beginners, and overall it is good, but it does definitely have some flaws.

I don't think the blame should go all on the affiliates, it's not the WA affiliates are not honest but the actual Bootcamp encourages people to write negative reviews not directly but it does,

for example I personally don't like how Kyle says there is no better place than WA in the world several times in the Bootcamp training.

With that said, WA is a great place and one of the VERY few ethical companies that care about the members more than their pockets.

I agree. The problem is really twofold:

1) Newbies are encouraged to do the Bootcamp course if they can't think of a niche. Therefore they won't know any different to what they are being told.

2) Kyle suggests that WA will win when compared with other opportunities. Combine this with the fact that his demonstration website is called "Ways to Avoid Scams" and it plants the idea in people's heads that WA is the only genuine oportunity in a sea full of scams.

The guy definitely knows his sh**

Hi Anis, It is amazing how a persons opinion can change once they actually try something.

Nice. I saw this post a few weeks back and I was pretty upset by his review because a lot of things he said was not true. Thankfully, he is saying the right thing now!

This again shows how great and powerful WA really is :)

He had a point when members are bashing good services unfairly to promote WA. But the review was largely one sided. Good to hear Tom Sawyer came over.

I agree but sorry I don't understand the Tom Sawyer part?

In his picture from the review he's wearing a straw hat and reminds me of Tom Sawyer or Huckleberry Fin
