Course 2 Complete

It has been less than a week since I make the great decision to join Wealthy Associate, and I continue to be amazed at how much I am able to accomplish each day by following the online training programs.

I will admit that today had its disheartening moments. I spent a considerable amount of time working on a post for my website, doing a lot of research, only to lose my internet connection and much of my work. Lesson learned - hit the save button regularly.

I had difficulties with my WordPress editor, and could not accomplish some of what was in a training module as a result. I posted questions about it to get feedback from the community. The answers I received convinced me that it was time to put in a ticket to the Support Centre. I am pleased to report that they responded in their usual speedy and thorough manner, working with me until what turned out to be a simple issue - was resolved.

It would have been easy to walk away in frustration when I hit those minor speed bumps. However, I am happy now that I stuck with it, reached out to the WA community and to the Support group, and added a little more knowledge into this non-technological brain.

I look forward to starting Course 3 tomorrow, I have no doubt that within a few days I will once again be amazed at the skills that have been developed thanks to the in-depth training and support systems in place.

The point of this late-night message is this: stick with it! There will be frustrating moments along the way, when you cannot get something to work the way you want when you want. However, all the tools are in place to ensure you can succeed. Use them. Ask questions of the knowledgeable community. Contact the Support Centre. And most importantly, recognize that nothing worthwhile comes easily. Celebrate the problems, because it is through those difficult times that you learn the most.
