i just want this page:

http://solocampinggear.siterubix.com/tents

to look like this page:

I got it! yay finally lol I used the 'TPG Get Posts' plugin and it worked beautifully! check it out :)

Using Yoast plugin allows you to remove category url as standard buddy.

First, what theme are you using. You can always create a blog roll page and choose the Tent category for it.

Many themes will allow this without much trouble. Others may make it a bit more difficult.

If you create a custom menu, and choose the tent category this will show as a blogroll. Last post first at the top.

You can remove the category by using this plugin : https://wordpress.org/plugins/remove-category-url/

But make sure you don't then have a post with the same URL ( http://solocampinggear.siterubix.com/tents ) as the new category URL as that will screw things up.

If you want to do this, do it sooner rather than later as it'll probably also cause links that are indexed already by Google to break. That's not a good thing.

And i'd recommend getting a proper domain name now and then changing with the URL structure as soon as the site is set up on the new domain name.

Changing 'Archive for (category name)' & 'Blog Archive' is more complicated. You're going to have to edit php files. Ideally make a new template for the Tent category with bits of code you don't need left out.

But that can wait until later. I'd leave it until you have a site running with lots of content and a domain name. It's not essential and wont deter anyone from visiting your site. Just superficial.

Can i get some help with this?

just starting out bout a week now coming along slowly but surely. I would love to get some feedback on anything.

Angel, you are off to a great start. The writing is very good, you have found your "voice". Just keep writing and maybe add a little more content to the articles.

Cool site! Looks awesome! Your doing a great job! I really like the start here button and your home page image!

woops sorry forgot the link

:)

I think you've got a good start. You have pages already in place, which is needed. You will probably want to expand on what you have written, they are a bit short. Plus, you will need to start a Blog that you post to regularly. The pages won't change much after you get them finished, but the blog roll will change frequently.

For only a weeks worth of effort, you're doing very well. Nice job. :)

Yea I am trying to figure out how to make the posts show up under their respective pages, but not finding a solution

You will need a drop down menu. Here is the video on that:

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/how-to-create-a-drop-down-menu

not in a menu though under the initial paragraph on the page I want the articles posted like in a blog. if i go to the category page for the particular term it shows how i want, except that it's archived, which i don't want lol

So, if I understand, you want to create a blog that is separate from your pages you have already created. Is that correct?

umm idkkk lol i just want this page:
http://solocampinggear.siterubix.com/tents

to look like this page:
http://solocampinggear.siterubix.com/category/tents

but without the mentioning of 'Archive for Tents' and 'Blog Archives'. I want the first link to list my posts under the description paragraph like it does for the category page

I'm going to be honest, you lost me!! I would start a new question and ask exactly what you have said. Someone smarter than me will come along, I'm sure of it!

My advice is starting with either "Get started here", good when you have your own niche already, or know what you want. If you don't know about a potential niche than use the "Affiliate Bootcamp". both are great learning programs. follow Kyle's tutorials and do the tasks. It might not as fast as one would like, but trust me it is the better option. Otherwise you can get lost very quickly with overwhelming feeds of information. Just my 2 cents. Best luck to you. :)

thanks I've going through the Training in order and doing all the tasks :) I posted the link to visit

Please post your url and we can give you some thoughts. :)
