Fail to Plan, Plan To Fail
“If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail!”
- Benjamin Franklin
For the past 48 hours, I have noticed three things about the Wealthy Affiliate community.
- There are some freaking bada** trainers and mentors sharing this knowledge on this platform.
- Mostly all of the affiliate training that I have searched the internet far and wide for is right here within this community.
- Being one of the new kids on the block, I am encouraged to always ask for help when I need it.
This is where I belong, among like-minded people who know affiliate marketing, like connecting with folks who share similar goals, and trust each to get the job done, individually and as a collective. That is a rare find.
Because of these three elements: Training, Community Building, Member Support, I decided to upgrade to a Premium member. Plus, I am working closely with a branding coach who is the bees knees and looks forward to helping me grow on my journey.
But it wasn't always this way.
In my experience as an online marketer, I have uncovered some not-so-secret golden nuggets from several coaches and mentors in various industries.
- DONE IS BETTER THAN PERFECT.
- EVERY COACH HAS A COACH WHO HAS A COACH.
- MAKE A PLAN AND STICK TO IT!
More often than never, I struggled with perfectionism and execution. I spent way too much time perfecting offers that never saw the light of day. Before I knew it, I was on the fast track to burn out, all because I didn't have a LONG-TERM plan & strategy in place to succeed as an online marketer.
So I devised a plan - Learn, Do, and Teach (all at once).
Learn the painpoints of my ideal clients
Do the work to provide them the best solutions
Teach them how to do it for themselves and others
So if you are reading this blog right now and you are unclear about your success at Wealthy Affiliate, I am here to tell you this - Start With the End In Mind.
Make a long-term plan and STICK TO IT!
And if you fail, fail forward.
