Squidilly-do-da.........
Just been trying to relax and enjoy some of the finer things in life..... like the art of doing absolutely NOTHING lol =p
But the past couple days ( yes, to include the weekend o_0 ) I've been making some free web pages on Squidoo.
Thanks to the training of PotPieGirl I've learned some valuable stuff and been putting it to use!
So far I'm loving it and really enjoying making these free pages about whatever I feel like =]
If you've never heard of Squidoo I would highly recommend you go check it out, and if you like what you see I would DEFINITELY recommend Jennifer Ledbetter's (aka PotPieGirl) course called One Week Marketing.
She's a phenomenal teacher and really, truly breaks it down step by itty-bitty step. I promise she really does "break it down barney style" so you have NOTHING to worry about. If you get in the training I promise you won't regret it as long as you actually do what she says no matter how much of a pansy you are to take the first step =p [we all start that way, no worries ;) ]
'till next time!

I would, but I sort of learned everything on my own through WA. I follow a strategy I derived off what Google, Microsoft, & About.com incorporates. I also formulated my own article directory strategy I'm putting to use later. Publishing on your own site is much more profitable for sure, although the audience & exposure can be great. And btw, I've been following Jennifer for about the past 2 years. Best of luck.
That's awesome you came up with your own plan and it's working for you. I was trying a bunch of different stuff a while back and I just ended up burning myself out. I think I started suffering from an info overload and it just got to be too much. So I slowed my pace, took a step back and went back to the basics. Thats when I found Jennifer and decided to do a mind dump and just focus on what she was teaching. Pretty awesome stuff, especially to get your foot in the door and start making friends in the biz. And SO many of the principles she teaches can be carried over into your own sites. Pretty sweet. Good luck to you too.
I am also taking the PotPieGirl training. I have come to realize that I should not spend all my time trying for the perfect lens yet - just follow the training as she suggests.
So much of all this stuff is still new to me so at this point I still don't know what I don't know.
Going to keep moving forward. Best of luck to you.
Thanks and you too!
If there's one thing I've learned in life so far it's that the more you know, the more you know you DON'T know =]
So don't fret about not knowing, because as we move forward we only realize how much more there is that we don't know.
All we can do is follow our gut, make our mistakes, get back up and do it better next time!
I'm not worried at all about making perfect lenses.... just MAKING them and making sure I do it often..... staying on track and creating often is hard for me. Personal obstacle to overcome.
Good luck with your endeavors and try not to get overwhelmed. Remember that taking breaks is a good thing =]
