What To Do When You've Got The Flu.

When I've got the flu I feel like curling up in a ball in a room and not coming out til I feel better.

Wouldn't that be great in a perfect world. My world certainly isn't perfect or is it?

When you've got a couple of acres surrounded by lots of deciduous trees come autumn there's going to be leaves to rake. Thought I was feeling like hello. I told my self I just had to do it.

Rather than wallowing in the influenza self pity I went out and started raking. This is what happened.

I often see posts and articles about the need to keep moving and the benefits that arise from that. Some of us are kinaesthetic and moving aids our thinking. Me so as I raked the thoughts began constellating.

Start where you are? Well I was raking. I was making piles of leaves. What did that remind me of? Making lists. I'm not really a maker a of lists and ticking things off. But this isn't just about me. There's others out in Wealthy Affiliate Land that may need some inspiration to get out of a flu induced funk.

What else happened? The reason I picked up the leaf rake was to clear the lawn of leaves. Why? Because leaves the that lie on lawns if left will kill the lawn underneath. Raking up those leaves allows sun to get to the grass especially during the autumn and winter months. I helps growth to occur. What came to mind was that as we clear clutter or leaves we make room for creativity and inspiration.

When the funk first came on me? Yesterday I didn't feel I had the energy to embark on the ship to a 1000 keyword rich blog post. I chose to help other members of the community and reached out to a couple of questions. I didn't receive a response yet but I did something.

But the thought that was pricked for me was about the Wealthy Affiliate community. How many are paying for Premium and Premium + and don't feel they're getting a return. For me its like paying taxes. We pay taxes to enjoy the benefits that taxes bring us - transport, infrastructure etc.

So our subscription is a tax we pay to use the infrastructure that Wealthy Affiliate provides. It a symbiotic relationship as we're adding to the infrastructure by creating training, commenting on blogs, giving feedback. We're all moving ourselves and Wealthy Affiliate forward to a better future.

And then you get this: The line of a song springs into your mind.
