Taking My Own SEO Advice!
Today I just wanted to share some advice with you that you might find helpful.
Over the past couple of years I have created lots of content for my website. And after a while you start to forget what you have written and what you have covered. For that reason I started going back over old posts and updating them where necessary. This is also very good for search engine optimization, as I mentioned in this training that I published some time ago.
How to optimize content for seo
But my message to you today is to take a close look at the posts and pages that you produce, because we all make mistakes!
Today I went back over some of the earliest pages that I created on the MMOZ website and found a couple of errors within my "About Me" page!
As all of you will know, this is one of the first pages that we build here.
When we start out on this online journey, most of us are new to the process of writing articles. And all of us are capable of making mistakes! That's why it always pays to go back over your work. After creating content for a few months, your writing style changes as you develop your skills. What you thought sounded good in the beginning, might not sound so great after a few months.
Going back and updating posts and pages is a great way to impress Google too, as I mention in the training above.
Take my advice and check on your original posts and pages. You might be glad that you did!
Have a great day!
Andrew

Fully agreed with you on that.
We mak mistakes and we are lazy to look at things that we produce, instead we ought to apply mental soundness and diligently check on the error we may have done.
John.
Yeah, its just human nature I think. We do things and then quickly move onto something else. Sometimes we make mistakes without realizing it.
This is so true. We've already updated our About Me page as our website evolved. Will heed your advice to do it regularly. thanks!
