My first round up post crowd sourced post!
Wow... I 've made my first round up post and I'm very proud of it. A round up post, or crowd sourced post, is a post where you ask several authorities in your niche a few interesting questions and then write those answers in a post.
The post: http://newfitnessgadgets.com/what-is-the-best-fitn...
I got replies from 8 of the persons I asked, and even if a roundup post ideally should have more experts, I'm satisfied with the first one.
Why a roundup post is great:
1 - You get most of the content from others
2 - THEY will (probably) share the post to their followers, and the more followers the better.
3 - You get a lot of links in the post to their sites which google likes a lot.
It's said that it's an easy post to write since you get most of the content from other... But I used a lot of time on this first one.
I had concerns with how to write out my stuff between the answers I received and so on. I'm not sure if I nailed it this time, but I had to publish it eventually.
Let me know if there is anything I should have done differently for next time!
Thanks craigOs for all the advice you gave me on this one.
Andreas

Hello: I think you did a great job with this post. It's one that I sure people will share. Who did your logo?
Thanks for sharing this info with us!
To your success!

Are you speaking of the photo of the folks he did the queries with? These could have been done on Photoshop... Easy to make a collage type thing using this program... Likely some free option out there too...
Yes, it is Adobe Photoshop as DavidSweney mentioned. If you mean the logo for the whole site it was a guy on fiverr.
Hello Andreas.
I'm no problem at anything, yet.
I like the overall page layout.
The post is really professional looking, and feel.
The content is right on, and the pics definitely did the post justice.
I think you did a wonderful job.
