I made my first infographic!

To promote my recently published list post about golf gadgets (http://newfitnessgadgets.com/24-cool-golf-gadgets-...), I made this infographic yesterday in Photoshop to be used on Pinterest.

What do you think? I'm not sure if it is really useful enough to be shared a lot, but I hope so. Do you have any good idea on how to share it faster on Pinterst?

Larger version can be seen here on Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/294493263113406987/

I hope to make more infographcis in the future.

Andreas

Awesome!

Thanks. :)

Nice one.

Thanks. Glad you liked it.

I think it is a great and I would go ahead an place it on pinterest, golf is very popular and it will be helpful

Thank you. :) It is pinned. I just wonder if I should make an own board just with golf gadgets and put it there.. And an own pin for every gadget on the list.

yea I have started making mine more relevant and do not forgot those keywords

Hi Andreas,

that's a great infographic and I'm sure it will benefit a lot of people who are into fitness gadgets.

I've been checking http://canva.com and http://piktochart.com for an alternative to design an infographic. Never got the idea of trying it with Photoshop though. Thanks for mentioning it.

Just a tip. You should definitely add this to your article. Show it to your traffic to increase social sharing. :)
You can also add this to your article title like this:

24 COOL GOLF GADGETS AND ACCESSORIES (Infographic)

All the best and thank you for sharing. It looks awesome!

Nicole

Hi, Nicole. Photoshop is a bit more advanced than canva. I use canva a lot too, but since I have access to Photoshop through my work I used it this time. All the graphic elements had to be designed and made my me and the photographs of each gadget had to be masked out.

Really good advice to add it to my article in a link or show it somehow. :) Will do it now.

Andreas

I have some basic Photoshop skills. I think I stick with Canva for now then. :)

If you can, try to add the infographic as an image instead of a link. You could give your article a short introduction, then show the infographic (I would put a "Click to Tweet" button underneath it to increase social sharing of the infographic).

Then followed by your description of each gadget. Kind of like at Backlinko. Here's the article:
http://backlinko.com/viral-content

It's a short introduction, followed by infographic and explanation of each point. Notice the Click to Tweet button under the infographic?

I'm currently testing this method on a niche website and it works quite well. Social sharing on Twitter has increased.

Very nice! I love the look of it!

Thank you. :) Thanks for liking my pin on Pinterest.

I have an addiction:) I click likes:)!!

Did you pin it yet? I didn't see it on Pinterest. It's hard to tell what's going to be popular. I one repinned 79 times a couple of weeks ago, but some I think are really unique may only get repinned 5 or 6 times. I see your when I click on the link, but not when I do a search for your website on Pinterest.

Hi!
Yes, I think I pinned it. ;) Under this board for instance. https://www.pinterest.com/mrnorue/fitness-and-health-gadgets/

I was thinking of making an own golf gadget board perhaps... and make an own pin for each and every gadget as well.

That might be a pretty good idea. I think i was searching under fitness gadgets. Just when I think I have Pinterest all figured out, they change an algorythm.

Hi Andreas that's really cool would love to know more about how you made it. Suggestions for disseminating I would say Twitter is good and visit a few sports forums or discussion groups on golf.

I also see many info graphics provide the code for people to use on their own site (which also has a link to your website included) great for acquiring backlinks.

Thanks for your advice. I tried sharing the pinterest post on twitter. Let's hope someone will share it. :) Sports forums and discussion groups are also good ideas.

Photoshop is a bit different fro Canva since I have to make everything from scratch myself. All the graphics and mask out all the pictures with a small glow effect. Lots of layers on top of each other.
