One take away I got from Marion's training was to turn the plugin off when you are not using. That way the plugin can't slow your site down when it is not in use.

I recently had my facebook, Google+ and other buttons from Addthis on my site but they have somehow disappeared. Help please!
It's possible that you see them on pages, not posts, or that they only show when you are not logged in.
I'm going to go back into the site and check AdThis to see what's up. Nathan, if you could take a peek at my page on Facebook and let me know what you think that would be awesome. Our Canadian long weekend is just ahead (weather is going to be great) and I want to get things set before the "peace of mind" begins (although I'm so addicted to my purpose that I'll probably checking in to my work more than I'm planning).

Here are the instructions for the WA banners: Adding a WA Banner to a Wordpress Sidebar Widget You can use the basic idea, but copy/paste the code from your affiliate. Getting a banner up is just about pasting the code into a text widget.
You can also do it manually this way: Put A Linked Image In Your Sidebar
Hi Andrea,
Click on the icon of the airplane that is situated above your profile photo.
Select banners from the drop down menu.
Scroll through the list of various banners and decide which one you want on your website.
Copy the HTML link and then do as Eugene outlined below.
You will be amazed at how simple Kyle and Carson have made it for us to add their banners to our websites.
Have fun with it.

I only have Amazon and TMart as affiliates. They each have their own method to add their product links.
WA only gives you their banners.

You may hyperlink it to your content in your blog or you can just put it in on your side menu, pictorial, banner or text.
Just copy the HTML link and paste it in the widget as text.

To link within a post or page you are creating, you will see in your toolbar above where your are writing, an icon that looks like a chain link, highlight the text you want to link, click on the icon just mentioned and a box with appear. Click on the gear and a bigger box will appear. Here you can place the link to where you want the visitor to go in the top line called URL, the words you have highlighted will be the second box, and click the smaller box if you want the visitor to open this link in a new tab or open the link where they are at.
