I don't understand the 1:8 - 1:12 part
I'm unsure of the context for your question -- I would take it to mean that out of every 8 to 12 people, one of them will upgrade to yearly.

That about 8 of the 12 people who are signing up will not even bother to fill in their profile, 3 will fill in their profile, but will not do anything and one is going premium and will be an active member.

There is no need to purchase an e-mail from namecheap - the e-mails for your domains that you have hosted here at WA are Free - Click SiteRubix then click Domain Management then on the top click site email.
Cancel your email with namecheap right away as it is not supported by the WA hosting.

Content is all about you. Whether you are selling WA or toothbrushes you will take the "niche" that you develop and make it your own. You will decide how you will differentiate the site from everyone else in the world.
WA has a lot of great training. However, WA is about doing and not just learning. Once you decide on your niche, look at the competition regarding your niche and ask yourself this very important question, "how can I improve upon what everyone else is doing that will inspire people to come to my website?) I hope this helps you in the directions you are seeking. Happy Holidays. DAN

I want to affiliate WA so I came up with http://learntoworkfromhomeforfree.siterubix.com and http://buildyourownbiz.siterubix.com. Now I need to learn how to build content. If you check out these 2 sites you can see they're kinda lame right not but I'll get there. I have all day to sit and learn. :)
It might help if you have a target audience that you are going to be writing for. Maybe graduate students who can't find work, or retired folks. If you have a certain group in mind, you can focus on coming up with a domain easier. :)
There are thousands of people who came before you. Try something related to you... like AndisHomeBizGuide or PassaroShowsyouHow... make it related to you.
