Hi,
Would it be possible to transfer to WA a website hosted with Siteground? If so, what is the procedure?

Kind regards,
Ana Mendes

If your site has content you need get in touch with site support for further instructions.

They will typically ask you for FTP info and your domain name, they'll set up a siterubix subdomain and upload files then you can check everything is okay before you point your domain to WA servers.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support

You may transfer or point to WA servers (if transferring domain has to end in .com, .net or .org.

To update your domain DNS settings to point to WA. Here are the DNS settings.

ns1.mywahosting.com
ns2.mywahosting.com

These settings will be updated within your domain registrar (where you purchased your domain) after the transfer has taken place. To transfer your domain here you need login current registrar and fetch the EPP code, there's a one year charge of $15, privacy included. One year more will get added to your domain.

Also it has to have passed the grace period of 60 days.

You sure can. Site ground is Wordpress so no problem.
Is you run into any snags, support both there, and here, are great!
Good luck
Suzanne

Is your existing website using WordPress? WA hosts sites using Wordpress.

Backup your site first in SiteGround so if something happens you can restore it.

I would contact site support To find out about transferring a site from SiteGround.

I just realized that in the dashboard, under the topic Classes, there is - Promote - Class Promotions.

How does it work and how can we make money from it?

Thanks i

Hi

You click "share with friends" and copy your unique affiliate link and share it. If someone's signs up, they get listed as your referral.

And later if they upgrade to Premium, you would get commission.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/share

Hi,
So I can share it outside WA?
Can I share, for example, any class on my website?

Yes you can.

However I would use Pretty links vs share them raw Hope this helps.

Thanks!!

Anyone can read or watch the classes? Will they have to create a WA account first?

Sorry for so many questions...

Good question, they actually have to be a premium to watch premium classes or premium plus for pp+ webinars.

However they can watch free starter ones. We keep updating the list as we find more free webinars.

Thank you very much for your help! It was very useful!

For some reason, I have the impression that you never sleep :D Every time I ask anything you are always so fast to reply to it.

All the best.

You're very welcome :)

Authoring & Writing Content
Updated

Hi,

I tried to edit a "Site Content" text but since it was published, it opens the text directly in WordPress. Isn't possible to re-edit inside "Site Content"?

You edit posts on wordpress once you have published them from site content

Once you "publish" posts for pages from Site Content they publish to the Wordpress dashboard of your website. Any images you included also go to your Wordpress.

You can edit your content in Wordpress Backoffice -> posts or pages -> edit.

I have the same issues. Trying to re-write my first post and it’s complicated.

do any post publish editing on your site...
if you want to add additional images from sitecontent hten create a post ain sitecontent and add the images ...
publish this to your site ( the images are now in your media library)
delete the just published image post on your site
goto the post you want to add images to ..on your site
and add the images from your media library....
click on posts >>all posts>>edit ( the post you want to)...
once in the editor go to where you want ot add an image and click on add media at the top...
your media library will open up and you can select the image you want...
don't forget to add alt text...change hte location formatting ( i tend to go for right align)
you can also add a featured image ( in the right sidebar) this will show in your blog roll and depending on your theme at the top of your post...
click update
when viewing changes on your site press ctrl+f5 if you don't see them to update your browsers cache...
good luck
phil

no... any edits you make are done on your website....
phil

Thanks Phil!

I am building my free website .siterubix and for now, I am okay with that because it is for training purposes.
However, in case I want it to pursue that idea, is it possibl

Yes, it is very easy to MOVE your free Siterubix.com website to your dot com website. We use the feature. It works very well. Everything moves - your content, images, theme and settings. Very seamless. Once the MOVE has occurred you begin working then from your dot com domain website

Thank you very much.

You are very welcome.

This training by Kyle will show you how when you are ready

Thank you very much.

You are most welcome

Andre

If the domain is available, then yes

Thanks!

yes I did the same thing I used the free one until I was finished and then I bought the domain from WA

Thanks!

Hi

You are.

You may start with a siterubix subdomain around a focused niche and build up content and until you are satisfied with your niche and name, down the line have your own dot com, as some affiliate programs do not work with a subdomain. Cost of which is $15 yearly each privacy included. You can then move your siterubix to your dot com applying the move feature found within the site manager which is an easy process.

You can use the move feature found within your site manager to move you siterubix subdomain to your dot com, when you are ready. It is a simple process.

You would need wait up to 30 days (Kyle's recommendation) for 301 redirects to be completed and for the search engines. After of which you may delete the subdomain however you could keep it for longer if hosting space is not an issue

You can check Kyles training tutorial below

Hi,
Thank you very much for your help and prompt reply.

So very welcome.

Would be nice to hear how you are getting along. Much obliged and best wishes.
