How soon before does it charge you again for your membership? Is it like 24 hours before? 12 hours? Any help is greatly appreciated wish you all the best and have a great bless

I'm not to sure what you're asking but this changes with the months , depending if it's a 30 day or 31 or 29 day month etc., If you paid your first payment on the 24th of a month then it should do so again the next month depending on the days as I mentioned above. They will give you a warning if no money is in the account and I believe they give you around a week to fix this. Jim

Oh ok, thank you for your help I believe you answered my question.

Also, do you know if I forget to cancel my membership and if I didn have enough money if they would overdraw my account so I do pay for it?

Or if they don't just charge me anymore and they give me a week to fix it?

Any help would be appreciated thank you for your help and time and consideration and have a great blessed day and life. GOD bless.

Nevermind I just figured out that it says like oh no your payment didn't go through and it says how to fix it.

Thank you for your help though wish you all the best and have a great blessed day and life. GOD bless.

Hello everyone I was curious am I allowed to post links linking to other websites out of WA?

Like for example a religious website like this

Best practice is to NOT link to outside websites, however, sometimes it's necessary to show someone some training, case study, or article. If you are unsure, you can ask me.

Some of new members have "spam fear", and will just say a blanket statement that you cannot post links, even your own website links and that's not true.

I break everything down here: Hope that helps.

PS. In both cases above, those links would be NOT allowed because they are not relevant to online business, not helping anyone specifically, and not your own websites.

Of course, you're asking a question here, so it's not an issue. Questions are welcome!

Thank you for your help as always much appreciated. Thank you as always.

No sir. You can only place links for comments and feedback of sites involved in your WA membership and you can only post those in a couple of locations. There is a thread for comments called share your beautiful content, and then under the menu on the left click websites, then content, and you will see where you can exchange comments or request and share feedback with other members there

Ok, thank you for the help and for helping me once again so soon it seems. It's nice to know thank you for the help once again and as always. I wish you all the best and have a great blessed day and life. GOD bless. Thank you for generosity and help once again sir.

I just want to clear up that Yes, you can post links if you need help: Those links above are not his website, and not relevant to WA, so you are correct that they would be considered spam in this case, but I also try to prevent "spam fear" from newbies who are just asking for help and trying to navigate WA.

Thank you for your help as always much appreciated. Thank you as always.

Hi, Adam, maybe you can check out this training by Kyle: All the best to you and cheers.

Ok thank you for the help much appreciated.

Just clearing up, it's OK to post your link if you need help. There's a difference between spamming a link, and posting a link with a purpose, e.g. asking for help or giving help:

Thanks for your clarification. Instead of replying here, I gave my 2 cents worth of opinion here: I appreciate you clearing up the issue. All the best to you.

Thank you for your help as always much appreciated. Thank you as always.

No problem Change! Happy to help :)

Hello everyone I was just wondering if there is any way to turn off automatic billing. Since I dont want to get charged automatically. I dont like when that happens. So if some

Marion has a good answer for you. Just keep in mind you'll have to unsubscribe then resubscribe each month. Hosting billing is ALWAYS automatic (every host), because it's important to keep your website online. Though WA has a 30 day grace period, most hosts will disable your website if you forget to pay.

Thank you for your help much appreciated. Wish you all the best. GOD bless. Thank you for the extra info and help and all. Appreciate it as always.

If you turn off automatic billing your membership will expire every month

Thank you for your help much appreciated. Wish you all the best. GOD bless.

I don't know how to do it if paying with a credit card. But i'm sure someone here knows how to do it..standby..!

Thank you for your help again. I haven't watched the video yet. But I think MarionBlacks video might be able to help me.

If you have paypal just go to your account. Go to activities. look for a Recurring Payment charge from wealthy affiliate. Click on the wealthy Affiliate ink and you will arrive at the Recurring Payments details page. Click the cancel link. It will cancel your subscription and you can renew it at a later date.

I don't use PayPal for my billing but thank you for the help and time you put into writing out an answer to try and help me appreciate it.

If I ever do switch to PayPal. Well, then I guess I know what to do so thank you once again.

Thank you for your help much appreciated. Wish you all the best. GOD bless.

What happens? Do I lose my premium websites that i paid for on WA through them in the websites tab? Im just curious to all what happens since I dont know if can afford my upcom

Your domain name is yours for as long as you keep up the annual payments for it. You can have your website hosted at another hosting company and keep your domain name registered here.

Ok thank you for the help much appreciated. Have a great day. GOD bless

All is lost... LOL, just kidding.

You'll lose access to WA but can still log into your site directly. After 30 days your site will be removed. As long as you restart your membership before then, you'll be fine.

what do you mean my site will be removed? do you mean like i dont have my domain anymore or i still have my domain but i have to find a new provider for it? Im just curious,

The files on the server will be deleted. If you registered your own domain name, that is still yours and you can transfer it to another hosting service.

so all my content on my website will be deleted? all my stories and articles I wrote will be gone?

Yes. You should back them up and WA performs backups too but if you cancel, the site will be deleted after 30 days past your membership expiration date.

Ok but the domain I got from WA through their domain thing to get a domain. Will I still have the domain I purchased through WA after 30 days?

Ok thank you for the help much appreciated. Have a great day. GOD bless

Do i keep the website for another month and then if i dont pay for the domain still then what happens? I just want to know and be well informed about the whole thing and that w

Tue, Apr 2, 2019

Hi, Adam.

Phil (phil1944) and Laurie (NewLaurie) are right: if you let the registration of your domain (the name of your site) lapse, it becomes available for anyone to snatch up and register.

Some registrars allow a short grace period of a month or less after your registration lapses, during which, no one else can register your domain. Just know that, if you renew your domain registration during a grace period, it can cost a LOT (hundred$) more than if you'd done it before the grace period.

I don't know whether or not WA has a grace period or, if they do, how long it is or how much extra they charge to renew your registration. If you contact SiteSupport to find out, will you do us the favor of returning here and letting us know what they said?

As for the content on your site, your best bet is to transfer a backup of it to your computer or an external hard drive or the cloud - or a combination of those options. WA will probably keep a backup for you for a while, but having your own copy is always wise.

"All-in-One WP Migration" is the plugin I use for transferring my backups. It's easy and fast to use.

Good luck!

Sure it's easier (and usually much cheaper) to renew your domain registration before it expires. Do you think you'll be able to?

That's awesome, Adam! I'm glad! And you're welcome - we all look out for each other here. :)

If it's a good one, it will be gone in a flash.

Thank you for your help appreciate it have a great blessed day and life. GOD bless.

I left WA for about 6 months or so as I could no longer afford the membership. When I came back my website and its related content was still there. Although it was offline for the time I didn’t pay my membership at WA. I was worried that I had lost my website and its content for good. However site support at WA got it up and running for me very quickly after I rejoined. So all was well and I was worrying for nothing. I don’t know about domains not being paid but I imagine there would be about a month warning before the content was deleted and you lost the domain for good

So all your website and content was still there? Did you still have your domain or did you have to buy a new one? Since did someone buy the one you had before?

My domain was still there but I still owned the domain. It was still within the year that i owned it but since it was part of WA it just stayed offline till I rejoined

Thank you for your help appreciate it have a great blessed day and life. GOD bless.

Domains are paid for yearly

Wealthy affiliate is paid for monthly

If you leave WA and you own your domain you need to get your domain transferred to another hosting company

Barry

Thank you for your help appreciate it have a great blessed day and life. GOD bless.

Are you talking about when the domain comes up for renewal after a year and you don't renew it?

It will lapse, become available for anyone to register and the website associated with it will be gone.

yes im talking about what would happen if you did not renew it at the end of its renewal period.

Well, as I said, It will lapse, become available for anyone to register and the website associated with it will be gone.

You have small window to renew it but the website will be unavailable during that time.

so do i have to renew the domain since it expires tommorow or do i have like a month to my website and everything goes bye bye?

The website itself won't be deleted (web host and domain name registrar are two different things) but it will become inaccessible as soon as the domain registration expires. You have a small window to renew it but you really should do so asap.

so if somehow i did not renew and i lost the domain name could i buy a new domain name and have the same website basically then? just on a different domain now.

Yes you could, BUT you would need to backup your existing website (before the domain expires) and then use that backup to restore the details to a new, empty website based on the new domain. See

Thank you for your help appreciate it have a great blessed day and life. GOD bless.
