I signed up with click bank. Anyone has experience using them?. Just signed up as advised in the lesson. Any advise will be appreciated!!!.
Hi Ana
I don't think Clickbank really fits in with your niche. They are information products and you already have your Arbonne products to promote - pushing both might be confusing/contradictory.
For future reference, if you want to learn more though, Nathaniell did a good training piece on Clickbank.. How To Find A Good Clickbank Product To Promote C
Hi amkiefer, i'm not familiar with this. Maybe wait for others expert into this to give the relevant info. I would like to ask too :)
Thank you so much!!! I am very new to the affiliate program. So I am also signing up for google adsense had you used them?. Do I need a business?

I NEED THE CSR CERTIFICATE ;(
Hi - I have a lot of experience of SSL certificates - I've been using them for over 13 years.
Why do you think you need one just now?
A bit of background, so I can ask that question in context:
I have a couple of websites, on dedicated servers, which collect personal information.
To comply with the PCI DSS (Payment Card Industries guidelines on security), these sites are on dedicated servers - shared with no other company or website.
I use an SSL certificate to encrypt the data between the customers web browser, and the web server - so that it can't be intercepted in plain text, as it passes over the internet.
A CSR is a Certificate Signing Request - which is used to generate a unique SSL certificate which you can then use to encrypt all information that goes between your visitors and you.
If you are setting up such a website that collects personal data (other than basic name/email for a mailing list), then you need to consider getting a dedicated server - as I mentioned above - which is beyond what WA currently offers within its premium package.
You would also need to find a server provider who is certified PCI DSS compliant, as the strict guidelines will require regular (monthly in my case) scans of your servers and network, to ensure there are no known holes that hackers could use to get the secure customer data.
If you are just setting up affiliate marketing sites, or ecommerce sites where the payment gateway is something like PayPal (where they are taking all of the customer details and card details), then you don't have to worry at all about SSL.
There is talk of Google ranking HTTPS sites above HTTP - but at this moment, I believe it makes up a VERY small part of their algorithm - and they would definitely know if your site was asking for non-secure card information, and I believe that is where they would rank you lower.
If it's just a legitimate everyday website - then I don't believe you have anything to worry about.
Please comment below, or PM me if you've any questions.
All the best, Mark
Hi Mark, great answer.
Don't you also need a dedicated IP address for a SSL? That also goes along with the whole dedicated server thing which Wealthy Affiliate doesn't provide...
Hi - yes good point.
As it's a physically separate server to any other - it has it's own IP address too.
Cheers, Mark
Why did you buy a SSL? I think you would have to submit a support ticket, but they might not be able to do much. I believe WA hosting uses AWS which normally the SSL certs cost around $500. I don't know if you would be able to use an SSL cert you bought from some other place.
