I created an email account but have not checked how to access it. So, how do I access it?
if it is a standard email account then click on websites - sitemanager -site emails ( tab at the top )
all of your emails you have created are listed here
click on password and copy just the password ( double clicking will add an extra character at the start of the password)
and then click login
you will need to type in your email address and then paste the password and press enter
if you created an email forward - there will be no login as there is no inbox everything is forwarded to where you sent it....
i hope that helps
phil
Thank you Feigner, I had forgotten how to get into the email. My brain is 'fried". But, I am still in the race.

If I type in my website URL, it takes me to google. Is this considered being indexed?
As Marion said. If your website is golfclubs.com, type in Google 'site:golfclubs.com'. This will show you the posts that have been indexed. As you've only just started and, this may not have happened if you've published your first article. It may take a few days.
WA will send you an email to notify you and you'll also get a G (Google) badge on your WA profile page.
Type the following into your browser:
site:domainname.com
Then you'll see which parts of your website have been indexed.
Yes, they will send you a notification on your email… And then you will jump up and down and hit your head on the ceiling because you were so excited and then you will send us an email so we can congratulate you!

I have at least 10 social media links across my website and along the right side. I only want FB, Twitter, and Linkedin. How can I get rid of them? I cannot publish my websit
Check your settings i.e social share plugin or social media menus.
Your site is already online. Have you fixed the @ in the URL ?

How can I place products pertaining to my niche on my website under the heading of choice?
I learned a couple of things from the answers you received, Anna! Thanks for asking the question!

In the level of training, it indicates I should register with an affiliate network, but there is no traffic to my website. There is a 90-day cookie period, should I register?<
Some affiliate programs would not take me on because there was not enough content. I too have struggled getting any to approve me. If you haven’t tried Amazon, they are much easier.
Hi Anna,
Honestly, applying to affiliate programs (and Google AdSense) comes too early in the training. Many new members do not know that affiliate networks or programs would inspect their website before getting approved.
They will look for a decent amount of posts (which translates to traffics), relevancy between the niche we choose and their products we'd like to promote on our website, quality content, etc.
It is recommended to wait until we have a complete website with all the required pages (About/Contact, Privacy Policy, Affiliate Disclosure), then, more importantly, 15+ quality posts.
When you are approved, only then you'll get access to their dashboard where we can grab affiliate links for products we want to promote.
Amazon will accept you immediately. However, if you want to stay in their Amazon Associate program, you have to get 3 qualified sales within 180 days. That is difficult with a newer site with less or no traffic. (See the screenshot below from their page)
I would suggest to you, please move on with the training. We can always revisit the training and complete the tasks given later when we're ready. Also, keep publishing 2 to 3 posts a week. So, on month 3 you can start applying for joining affiliate programs.
Hope this helps,
Ferra
My dear Ferra,
I was waiting patiently for your response. Thank you. And I am waiting to do the website the correct way. If you get the opportunity to look at my website, I think I have a problem with the link. I have an @ in the url.
Hi Anna,
My mentor and some other WA members suggested me to wait and so I waited until my 3rd month. Back then I had 30 posts+ so I didn't get any rejection from the affiliate programs I joined.
Your URL is not supposed to have @. Unless it is an email.
I hope you have submitted a ticket to the Site Support.
Hey Anna, if there's no traffic, no visitors.
For now I'll keep adding quality rich content with good choice of keywords.
