How do I choose the best theme for what I want to sell? Is there somewhere that tells you what themes work better with certain niches?
Hi - as a starter member, you only have a limited selection to choose from, I think its around 12 or so. If you were a premium member, you would have over 7000 to choose from!
To start with, you just need to pick something simple, as it will help you to follow along with the training. Plus, nobody will see your site for quite a while, so it doesn't matter what it looks like really.
You can easily change a theme at any time, so once you are up and running, and a bit more confident with website creation, you change it to something more interesting.

I agree with the advice from Diane. Just pick something simple to work with initially.
As a WordPress developer, I know there are many great free themes out there with various degrees of functionality.
Once you get your feet wet and (hopefully) become a Premium member, you can choose to get a theme with many bells and whistles. You can always change to a new theme later.
I would also suggest eventually picking a theme that has good documentation and video instruction on how to use it.
Also, you can go to YouTube and look up tutorials on your theme. The better themes have extensive YouTube tutorials.
