Core “Business Start Up” Training

I am a college student without a lot of time and money to spare, should I still upgrade to premium, is this logical for me to do?

Its hard to actually list all the benefits that you will realize until upgrading.

I'd suggest going through the free training and resources first, and then the answer should be apparent. I'd started recently, but could see right away that the additional resources and training unlocked with premium was well worth the investment given what I wanted to do. Since you can get a first month premium for under $20, if you still are uncertain it's only a small investment to really see what is here.

I have done all the training! it seems like a good program. I am just wondering if this is going to be more of a program for someone that has full time hours to dedicate to it.

Of course, the more time you can devote to it, the faster success can arrive. However, many people here are making it work while holding down full-time jobs, going to college, or otherwise working on the program part-time. The consistent thread across all the success stories is taking action using whatever time is available.

For example, if i was blogging about a hockey experience that i've had, could I put a bauer (hockey brand) advertisement alongside it

You can make your page to be a blog style if you want. What I have been reading is you will rank better in google if you are an "authority" on the subject.

That said there is nothing wrong with a conversational style if you can get the traffic.

Another question if you don't mind. I have created my website, yet when i type in the URL on google it does not come up. How are people going to see my website.

Thanks for the reply by the way!

If your domain is new, it probably hasn't been indexed yet by Google. The Google bots have yet to "discover" your site. One trick is to keep Googling your whole domain (a couple times a day - do not go crazy or you may be penalized) and make the Google bot "see" it faster. If you have content already, you can use the trick, or just wait it out. The Google bot will see you soon enough!

In WP General Settings, ensure you have not ticked the little box to make the site invisible to the search engine. You probably haven't done that, but best to make sure.

Make sure you have set up the All in one SEO plugin correctly and that you have activated the Sitemap feature.

If after that your site is still not indexed, maybe there is not enough content on there yet for the search bots to find it. It can take a little longer for a Siterubix site to get indexed than if it is an owned domain.

Get a free Webmaster Tools Account and follow the training below. It shouldn't be necessary to do this more than once.

How do you see how much traffic your site is getting? Thanks guys

The best way in the long term is to set up a Google Analytics account. Here's training for how to do that:

Manually Adding Google Analytics to Your Website

As with most worthwhile knowledge, there is a bit of a learning curve to understand Google Analytics. It is recommended for anyone seeking to build a business online.

In the meantime, if you're happy with some basic stats, you can look at adding the stat counter code to your site. I'm not certain if it works with free Siterubix sites, but you can try:

every time I have a question like that I find that it comes with time in the training. There is a reason why they wait to have you see your traffic. it is because in the begining there will be little to no traffic and it can be discouraging if you are checking it every day expecting bif results.

but after some work and content building then they go over step by step how to do it. This whole program is built in a way that show you how to do everything you need. Take it all one step at a time
