I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who takes more than a day. I, too, spread the work out over a week. Thanks for your reply.
That totally depends on the subject, when I write a blog for my Bootcamp website it's about the same 5-7 hours, but when I write a blog for my health website, I often spend 5 days on it of 5-7 hours for research, making kcal lists, nutrition lists, creating special pictures (image) etc.
So, everything in between 5-7 a day and 5 days is possible

Man, I'm so glad I'm not alone! I spend 4 or more hours just writing one blog post! I can't imagine doing it everyday, although that's where I'd like to be. But yikes the researching, writing, finding creative commons photos, it takes forever!!

Can I have a Google Plus AND a Google My Business (service) account?
I don't see why not.
I have had two for some years now.
Seperate email address for each one of course and preferably a Google one.

I applied to amazon affiliate back in January and have been using the provided affiliate links and graphics.
On 16 April, get the following message from Amazon:

Hi Zdot. I think that's what happened. Ah well. I'll just reapply. Today is a new day and brings fresh perspective. It's merely an inconvenience and paperwork drill. Easy to overcome!
Alyssa, A little insight on Amazon...I've had my site up for just a year and Amazon was my first affiliate. The good news is their support staff is very helpful and friendly. The bad news is they have only a 24 hr cookie. I've lost commissions because people leave items in their cart longer than the 24hr window. Another thing I just became aware of is they have an extremely extensive internal history system in place. In other words, anyone connected with you by address, credit card info or even name will prevent you from earning commission on items they purchase from Amazon. This includes relatives regardless of where they live.
Because of all this, I'm researching other affiliates.
Best of luck to you.
Karen
I had this happen after two weeks with Amazon and for the same reason(s). I started submitting my posts to them that had their links, you can do that my logging into your account and selecting the menu that states "Edit your website and mobile app list." I don't know if this will help but it definitely doesn't hurt. Good luck!
I've actually never heard of this one, at least not after 3 months. The usual problem is getting rejected for not making your first sale within 180 days.
Chris, great minds think alike. I spent 75 minutes on the fone yesterday with 4 different Amazon reps, none of whom could answer my questions. It will take less time to re-apply
I'm not sure what you mean...which account should I check? The amazon affiliate account is gone. Kaput. Nada.
Hey. Amazon will only review your website after your first sale as far as I know... This could be why the delay.
So, maybe the silver lining here is that someone tried to buy something through my website :) !
You are brilliant marcopansos :) I need to learn as much as possible about Amazon and this a GREAT start... Thank you...! THANK you...!
Best Wishes
