I struck jaaxy gold!
Holy smokes - I am so excited that I don't know where to begin!
The background
I am in a sub-niche of the wedding industry. When I began using Jaaxy I found many "low hanging fruit" keywords. And they definitely came with some low monthly searches and traffic. I thought, "that's okay", that's how this works. I'll rank for the low-hanging fruit and work my way up to the more competitive keywords.
Little did I know that my wedding niche competition has been around for so long, that they, too, rank for the low hanging fruit.
I was starting to get a little...unmotivated at the prospect of ranking above the competition. I don't want to be "just another wedding website".
My husband and I talked strategy yesterday morning. He reminded me to focus on my strengths and I'll stand out in the niche.
The turning point
This morning the 1000 Watt lightbulb lit up above my head and I re-entered Jaaxy searching keywords that play to my strengths.
I'm literally tripping over higher-traffic, lower QSR keywords and can visualize my website content, flow, everything.
GOLD
Then it happened. I typed in a search term and it came back with 1238 Avg, 211 Traffic and...wait for it...0 QSR!!!!!
This is the first time in 6 weeks I've found such high traffic for such low competition. Now I'm motivated!
Keep Pressing Forward
If you are just starting out, keep pressing forward. And listen to your intuition. And when you get stuck, bounce your ideas off of supportive people wherever they may be - WA, family, friends.
Full steam ahead my friends :)
Have a wonderful day.

Be carefully with 0 QSR. Jay on his webinars told that is usually opposite a high QSR but Jaaxy sometimes do mistakes.. i think is was Q and A or Seo webinar.

The QSR = 0 will be an error.
( Happened to me when I first tried Jaxxy and I felt the same as you did. )
You can do a check by putting the same KW in the regular Keyword Tool and seeing the Google search results
Bummer. Well I guess the appropriatecsayingbherevis "all that glitters is not gold"
Yeah, there are some circumstances where Google changes their interface which can cause the odd QSR = 0. In saying this, there are MANY keywords out there that have zero competition, 100's of millions to be a bit more accurate.
With a 0 search result, always double check in Google to make sure though, anything else will be 100% accurate.
Thanks, Kyle!
