Media dot net as alternative to Google AdSense?
Hi all,
I wonder if anybody here is utilizing media dot net ads. And if there are, I hope you don't mind sharing your experience with them and if you recommend them.
I applied for Google AdSense 3 times and was denied 3 times. Yeah, I know. Some say it isn't worth considering AdSense. I even read somebody's post not wanting anything to do with AdSense that He had to skip the lesson about inorporating it into his website.
I was on messenger with Lanie7 last night and I mentioned how I applied for Google AdSense but was denied 3 times and I wasn't sure why. She then suggested I tried Media dot net which I did. And in less than an hour, I got an email from them congratulationg me for being accepted into the program.
Attached in the email were the ad codes I need to place on my website and instructions to implement ads dot text to boost ad revenue.
I haven't started yet as I wanted to know your thoughts on this.
Thank you.

Placing the ad codes is way more complicated than I expected. I'm supposed to just place the codes on the exact spot where I want them to appear but after doing that and switching to visual , the ads aren't working.
I'm gonna have to reach out to my account manager. Anyway, I'll let you know how it goes.
Hi Alysanna, I am not at this level yet so I can't help you but I appreciate the information you have given about adsense and Media dot net. I hope you are approved and get to use whichever one you want and with great success.
AdSense is more popular I guess because it's what's recommended in the training. But for those who got denied many times (like me), I think Media dot net is not a bad alternative.
I checked that out. It would confuse me. At the moment I am focused in learning and implementing the system taught here at WA. I feel that other tools like medis.net are best left to use after one starts earning an income using the methods taught here.
I've read several reviews comparing it with AdSense and I think it's worth trying. When you apply, they will email you the ad codes pack as well as the instructions on how to incorporate it on your site.
They even assign someone to assist you, like your personal contact from them whom you can reach out to in the event that you get stuck or need any help.
Yeah, I find it a bit confusing too because you need to insert the ad codes into your website admin area. I worry that I might mess everything up that's why I want to know what others who have tried it think.
... as this particular tool is off platform ... it's best to try it out in a 'sandbox' as Jay, WA's Live Coach recommends on a number of occasions in his various training sessions .... that way, if you're exploring a new resource or new tool to you, then, your website that you're trying to build won't be affected until you're sure about the effects of the new tool ....
.. hope that suggestion helps you a wee bit ....
all the best, cheerio .... :)
Just the once...had the message to say I will get an email....that was six weeks ago or so and no email to say yay or nay..it's not a priority it was more of an exercise, as I was going through the training.
That's pretty encouraging Dave, thank you.
I read a review comparing AdSense with Media dot net and accordingly, AdSense requires at least 5000 daily page views.
Until now I am not sure why AdSense kept rejecting my application. I read some posts here saying that their website is only 2 months old and less than 25 posts but got accepted.
Mine is almost 2 years old with over a hundred post and a considerable amount of traffic. Any tips?
Oh, good to know, thanks Dave.
I might go with Media dot net for now and see how it goes then try again with AdSense.
Hey Alice,
This is interesting. Is it possible for Lanie7 to write a quick review about Media dot net? I would gladly read it and assess whether to try it or not. Thank you for sharing.
Joseph
Hi Joseph.
Indeed it is. But I don't think Lanie7 wrote her own review of media dot net. But if you're interested you can always search it online as I am sure you will find several reviews about it.
But I am really interested to know if we have fellow Wealthy Affiliates who are using it and if they highly recommend it.

Thanks. Right now, I'm having trouble placing the ad codes on my site because they're not working. Hmmm ... it's way more complicated than I thought.
Good thing is that they assign each publisher their own account manager to help them out.
