Ahh. Maybe you need to paste into your theme somewhere. I am not exactly sure. either that or the code you are using might be wrong.

Your domain doesn't have to be keyword rich, it can be purely brandable which is usually the approach I take when I purchase a domain name.
When you choose a domain, you are going to want to choose something that is "brandable" versus something that has keywords within it. The reason this is the case is because as you build out your website, you can target as many keywords as you like within the content (that is how you will rank).

I would advise to keep the domain since You have paid for it. The traffic will come because of Your content and not primarily because of a good domain...
