Hated Writing Love Writing
Is that title confusing? Well, let me explain it.
In the not so distant past, I really really really HATED writing. That's quite ironic, because to make it in this business....writing is a must.
Knowledge wise I understood what it would take to write well. I'd read the books, took the courses, seeked advice; however, I still struggled.
BAM! What Happened
Recently, something amazing occurred. I had this great epiphany. Suddenly, writing became such a breeze.
Let me share the 3 things that had changed:
1. I no longer cared how perfect it sounded or looked.
2. I'm writing now as if having a conversation with a friend or peer.
3. No more fear of criticism of others and especially from myself which ties into change number 1.
There it is!
I've known these things for years, but it hadn't quite produced the change of heart to overcome them.
Let me give a shout out to Eddy Salomon who has inspired me with his witty conversational style writing. Eddy you're an inspiration!
Conclusion
Yep! That's it. Just a sudden shift within me and I can't stop writing.
I'm actually excited about it. Wow! Can't believe I'm saying that...LOL!
Also, I love this supportive community at WA. Since my return, I've only received encouragement and support.
Thank you Kyle and Carson for creating this platform giving opportunity for this great encouraging place to succeed.
Took me awhile but I think I've just overcome a major hurdle.
Thank all of you!
Be Your Best and Be Blessed,
Allen

Hi Allen, I can relate, I too have not been a writer much less liking to read. However, over the last few years writing has become more of a necessity in my business, and now I realize, that I need it to pursue my online business, and consulting business as well.
Funny, I get the juices for ideas to write late at night, or until 2 or 3 a.m. in the morning.
Can't wait to see where I'll be by the end of the month.
Much success to you on your journey
Thank you Carla.
