Reaching the Big 50
There have been a number of recent posts about reaching benchmark ranks in Wealthy Affiliate, so this will be a short post!
It is my belief that when you join a group or community you have an obligation to not only take what is offered, but to give back to other members.
I reached a goal this morning of Top 50 .. this is not a measure of success, but one of committment and contribution ... the only way to get a top rank is to GIVE!
Wealthy Affiliate is a community of giving, receiving, helping, supporting, understanding, patience ... and succeeding!
Those who learn and share their learning receive the satisifaction of helping others, in return ... it feels good, helps others and increases self-confidence!
To help others we must first help ourselves!
As the top 50 is a finite number, someone must drop off the list when a new member advances ... and the rank is lost ... but can be regained with continued effort!
Best of luck to everyone who aspires to such goals ... it is a fun competition and gives you something to work towards!

I recall when I joined I was 300,000+ and thought hmmm ... wonder if it is possible to climb that very tall ladder?
Yep, it is possible ... slowly the first year and then turned on the afterburners in September ... Boom!
.... reply #2 ... and with gaining traction -- onward & further upward, dear Allan! ... you've got what it takes! ... get-go it's called! ... cheerio ... :)
Congratulations Allan! A very well deserved accomplishment.
It takes a lot of time and effort to reach the Top 50. Good luck.
LOL .. my wife looks at me like ... what the heck are you doing on there all day??? I do need to focus on some revenue generation however as the months slide on by! :) Having far too much fun! LOL
Allan, congrats on reaching the big 50. Yes, it's all about giving and that's what we do as we climb the ladder. Keep up the good work and keep on giving. It brings big dividends in helping others.

Congrats, Allan! What you've shared is inspiring. There is nothing more fulfilling than helping others, seeing them succeed, and also seeing how it ultimately benefits the giver in ways both spiritual (if one leans that way--I do) and material. Everybody wins! I am just beginning here, and as I proceed with this WA adventure, I look forward to paying it forward so that others can benefit as I know I will!
Great approach, Melanie ... this is the place for you!
