Patience

Our lives are often so busy, we can easily slip into an "out of control" mode. We react and allow external triggers, events and people, to guide us, rather than managing our lives in a proactive way.

This state of being "Out of Control" generates emotional responses in our bodies, such as, stress, anxiety, anger, and negativity towards everything that is going on around us.

"Losing Your Patience" is often the first sign that you are on the edge or perhaps already "Out of Control".

in our busy lives, there are always stresses and conflicts between our goals and someone else's!

  • The kids are demanding attention
  • Your partner's needs conflict with your goals
  • People complain or are negative all the time
  • The dog is constantly barking
  • You have to work overtime suddenly
  • Financial pressures
  • Work environment is caustic
  • Commute is long and tedious

Fortunately, patience can be rediscovered and we can return to our "In Control" state.

Take a few minutes out of each day to stop thinking and just quiet the mind.

Use the techniques of self-hypnosis to achieve a state of relaxation, peace, joy and calm. Hypnosis helps to ease anxiety at the subconscious level, and allows you to find a sense of inner peace, many people have never achieved.

Through the use of visualization, relaxation, and other techniques you will bring balance and harmony to your life.

Anytime you begin to feel restless, go to this calm, safe place of tranquility and rediscover the joy of being patient and in control!

The situation always looks so much better from a place of peace than from a place of chaos and uncertainty.

Great picture!!

Hi Allan!
Thanks for sharing this piece of wisdom.
It is a difficult thing to practice with the physical pain and other issues I deal with daily.
I’m not often completely out of control, but do spend too much time at a “highly frustrated” level of being.
My animals have been a big help, and finding WA has also helped. Anything that takes the focus off of myself and turns it toward something else is good.
If you can help me learn self hypnosis I would love to hear more.
Thanks for sharing this post.

Hi KyleAnn .. yes there are many benefits to be found in self-hypnosis ... lets chat privately.

Great advice. I've learned the hard way that if I don't take some "me" time during the day, I'm not as productive as I'd like to be.

It is so important to take time both for "Me" as well as to turn off the active thinking in the brain .. this can be done through meditation or hypnosis .. or activities like Yoga that are closely aligned with the concepts.

Thank you for the reminder Allan. We all need to relax at times.

Derek

Thank you for the lesson allancurtis amazing concept

I should honestly try to do this. My state of being 'out of control' is different than it would be for most people. I am paralyzed from the armpits down so most physical things in my life are out of my control. And you know what, I do tend to be angry and lose my patience a lot. Thank you for this post!

I am sure it is very difficult, Lynne ... it is important to try and focus your thoughts and energy on what you can control ... your thoughts, your beliefs, your imagination. While physically you have limitations ... do not allow it to restrict your mind's ability to overcome these negative feelings.
The mind can control every thought, reaction, response to every external and internal stimuli ... use it to overcome those negative feelings and to visualize yourself in a happy place.
Thank you for sharing your feelings ... it is important that people hear these comments and better understand what it is like to be paralyzed. Shout it out loud and clear, so all can hear. :)

I wish it were that easy to just not let the negativity rule. It's been 10 years and a lot of anger and frustration. Perhaps I need to check out your website. Could you send it to me in a private link?

Be happy to Lynne ... let's "talk"
