Hello WA family,

I have an idea and I hope I'll get your valuable comments. I wrote a review of a product manufactured by "ABC company". Is it a good idea to contact "ABC

There is no negative impact that I can think of.
Whether companies will respond is another matter.

Yes, I just wanna try. If they don't respond, it doesn't matter anyway.

Glad you are trying. One never knows.
Maybe you can blog if you get a response. That would encourage others to at least try even though not all companies will response..

Unless they are a small company, the chances of getting a link are tiny. The only way might be if you are considered an expert in the field so that your opinion would be significant. Bigger companies, or at least those with lawyers, would not comment because there are legal liabilities in doing so.

You're right. But I just want to make sure the info about their product in my content is correct. So, I would like to contact them for private/public comment/feedback.

Then be prepared for them to want to re-write your content. You're not saying it the same way they do, so they may want to change it. They may think you emphasized the wrong benefit, and oh dear if there's something you didn't like.

That's what I'm afraid of. So, I may only contact the company that I wrote a "good" product review.

Even then, they may want you to say it a different way. Just saying. I've been doing this for 23 years, so I've seen a lot!

WoW, 23 years of experience! nice!
Then, I may need to think twice. Thank you so much. Jeannine!!

Sounds like a good plan, my friend!

Jeff

Thank you, Jeff.

You're very welcome, Alex!

Jeff

I do that on a regular basis for information about certain things and most of the time they are forthcoming.

It's probably best to approach them as if you were a user/customer because I found that as soon as they heard I was creating a review about the company/product they do have a tendency to not be as forthcoming.

Having said that though I have had companies who have seen the review and got in touch to promote as an affiliate.

Mick

Thank you for your sharing and opinion. Thank you so much.
Do you mean that if I'm a real user, it is a good practice to approach them? Otherwise, you'll prefer not to approach them? Did I correctly get your point?

If I am writing a review about a product/service "sometimes" not always I do approach whoever I can, who is part of product/service.

Whether this is a Facebook group or the merchant directly.

To find out additional information and to clarify something.

Obviously, you don't need to be an actual user.

Mick

I see. Thank you so much, Mick
Thank you for your opinion and real experience sharing.
Then, I think I'll contact the company to enhance my review.
Thank you so much.

Alex

You can contact, it is down to them to proceed or not.

I'd keep things in perspective.

May I ask why?

Just want to make sure the info that I provided in the review is correct and perfect. And I hope they are willing to link from their website to my site.

Thank you for your reply, AbieAJ.

You're very welcome!

Maybe there is a member who offers proofreading gig that could help you. But my advice to you is Fiverr. You can hire a proofreader on Fiverr for as little as $5 per 500 words of content!

Thank you so much. It's a great idea. Thanks, Ivan.

Alternatively, you can “hire” Grammarly Premium version for $30 a month to be your proofreader and editor wherever you go!

In fact, I'm using the free version of Grammarly. It helps me a lot but it may not be perfect.

Trust me, Premium version has changed my writing and grammar skills dramatically. I am not a native English speaker too, but at least my content doesn’t seem that way anymore and that’s all thanks to Grammarly and lots and lots of practice 😁

I use Grammarly, the free version, as well, and nobody even seems to realize that I am from Belgium and Dutch-speaking. Not even in my FB group ;-)
On the other hand, I have seen some websites by native English speaking people, whose writing seems terrible, sorry to say ;-)

OK, thank you so much. I'll try it. Grammarly is really helpful to non-native English speakers.

hahaha...then, I think they should use Grammarly.

I started with free version as well, tried Premium, and never went back :)

I share the same experience! That’s maybe because we, non-native speakers try harder to make our content grammatically correct.

Yes, that's the problem. I can write thousands of words but can't ensure grammatically correct.

Hello, I'm so glad and surprised about my first ordered items on Amazon. But why there is no earning?

Does anyone have experience with Amazon Associate?

My guess would be that they had already visited Amazon and checked out those products. That meant they already had an Amazon cookie on their computer, and you as a lowly affiliate can't overwrite that.

Either that or Amazon knew that either you or someone you know purchased those products. Once again, that makes you ineligible to earn commissions from the purchases. Amazon knows everyone you know. Big Brother......

I'd reach to their support and check what is.

Ok, Thank you so much,

You're very welcome.

Hey Alex,

In asking Google your question, you may find your answer in the screen print below...

Hope you find this helpful.

Ok, thank you so much. Let's see what will happen 5 days later.

But that’s about it not getting to your bank account in 5days. It should still show on the chart when the sale is made.

It might have to do with a waiting time still, due to possible returns Darlene.

When the items are offically shipped you will see your earnings.

Ok, thank you so much. I hope they will be shipped asap.

lol usually within a day or two but I have had it take 4 days before. However you still don't get the commission for another month or two

Then, when will you get the commission? Three month later?

It depends on what you chose as a payment option. The amount of sales must reach that threshold before it all hits your bank.

I'm not sure. Maybe it's not fulfilled yet, so it's not showing up as a sale?

It just showed someone ordered some items on Amazon via my links within 24 hours cookies.

I scheduled posts to be published every weekend. However, they always "Missed Schedule" and don't publish as scheduled. Does anyone have the same problem?

Hey Alex,

You may be interested in what I shared with Fleeky last week: It works wonders for me.

Hope you find this helpful.

Thank you so much!!!

No sure on this plugin but some require visito5rs to be on your site for action to take place.

Thank you so much!!

You are welcome.

i would investigate the post scheduler plugin....never used it but have tried the wordpress scheduler and found if anything happens when it is supposed to post then it just gives up....
the other way is to investigate the email poster...then you have external control...
i hope you get it sorted...
