A search engine that lets you search for creative commons images, it is an ongoing project that provides the ability to search over a wide range of online image assets.
They are a nonprofit and continue to expand the available resources one of those ones that runs off donations.
Community, driven, and open sourced projects can be the source of some excellent assets.
When creatives work together, then good things happen.
As stated in their about me page;

Just be sure to narrow the search to free for commercial use no attribution or you will have to link back to the author's page.
You can use it to build links by tagging your site images free to use with attribution. This way people can share the image but have to give you a deep link to your blog. Very good for SEO.
