Using Site Content On The Go

Have had a little spare time so I have been playing around with site content. What an amazing innovation and it is adding real value to the Wealthy Affiliate suite of platforms. Always looking the be more productive, I have loaded my " site content dashboard " onto my phone as a favorite so it is really easy to access it without having the log into WA.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/content

After creating that portal and creating some content related templates, with a tap on the screen of your smart phone, you can access the editor. So now, when on the go and that inspiration strikes it is easy the whip out the phone and start creating. As quick as a flash it is possible to frame out that next piece of content.

Sometimes when that gem arrives on your mental screen it is not always possible the sit-down and record it in fill on the spot. This provides an excellent alternative, start exploring you can actually lay out the bones of a post very quickly. I can be a stop-start writer at times, so the sense of urgency can actually work and be an advantage.

It is a little tweak that is producing results, just a matter of fleshing out the post when back at home base.

.

Another discovery is that it is possible to create a post on the go using voice the text. Now that is really handy.

All you need is a voice to text functionality, I am currently just using " Google voice typing " and it seems the work well. Just access "keyboard and input methods" in the settings on your phone, it may be just a case of selecting or you may need the download an app that gives you this functionality. Just a matter of speaking slowly and clearly then let the device connect with the nuances of your voice and then you can speed up.

Initially, it may be a bit stop and start and there may be a few um's and ah's but with practice, it starts the flow. Now that is kind of handy. The flow on effect is that you start to speak a lot better especially around the pronunciation of words.

It may not suit everyone, but if you are busy, out and about and on the go, we are still usually connected so why not use those little beaks in the traffic to be productive you never know when your " idea machine " will crank into the life, it can be about making the most of the inspiration.

I usually think and have those great ideas, but in the busy of the day, it slips from the mental screen before I can make or take note of it. The real plus is that I can speak 500 words quicker than I can type them win-win I would say.

Would like to know what you think?

Alex

Hi Alex, great tip. We spend so much of our time talking into our phone..it rarely registers with us that we could also use it to take down notes and ideas on the go. Cheers buddy

It is something that many of us do on a daily basis, it makes good sense to extend our capabilities by utilizing the technology. Thank you for stopping by and sharing Anthony.

Site content has been built up as a good construct like a Swiss army knife!

Hi, Mike I really like that one the swiss army knife of WA it is shaping up like that with the addition of the images platform. I can see more folks starting to earn utilizing the resources that we have at our disposal.

Yes. It's quite transformational Alex!

It is indeed, Mike, really looking forward to the future with high anticipation.

Doubtlessly, these are sleek sound ideas. I will try despite my broke English at times. Thanks Alex

Hi Dr. Chan-ti, they seem to work and are a way to get our ideas down quickly while out and about and it works well if we are pressed for time. I hope that you find this helpful.

thanks. I will push to try and apply.
Cheers,

Awesome let us know how you get on.

Hi! Alex,
Thank you for remembering me. I will try as soon as my site, www.ebettercare.com, can be up and running. Through WA training and support, I stack up the valuable tips and tricks in repertoire.

That is going to be a site, it is all about building on that solid foundation.

Thanks for reassuring. Good morning...

What a good idea, I never thought of that.
Thanks Alex

Hi Hitesh, you are most welcome, it is amazing what crops up just playing around looking for better ways of doing things. it certainly helps with the productivity

Thanks Alex. Yes, great ideas. I’m not a fan of typing on my phone especially now that Apple in their wisdom seem to have “shrunk” the keyboard so I keep hitting the wrong keys. Where there was punctuation (comma) I now keep selecting the emoji.

So the voice to text sounds like a good idea. I’ve known of the functionality but just never used it. Me thinks it’s time I tried

Hi, Gary, I don't have an apple phone but suffered the same problem. I can't believe the kids that can just sit there and just use both of their thumbs to tap the screen keys, just doesn't work for me. I have an android phone and have a scribing app loaded which allows you to basically scribe using a finger it works really well. Not sure if Apple has the equivalent.
The voice to text just opens up another avenue to create content. All the best and let us know how you get on.

Hi and thanks Alex, you're so right. I used to catch a train into the city and would see them texting away single handed fast than I could go with both thumbs :)

I'll certainly let you know how I get along. Apple does have it in their Notes but I'm not sure if it converts the "scribble" (yes, even that takes a bit of practise haha) to text but I'll definitely check it out.

I found that when I started out but wouldn't be without it now really good for the productivity.

Thanks so much for sharing these brilliant ideas of writing on the go.

For certain people, ideas flow smoothly when they are using different apps. I would love to explore using voice text. Also, my mobile phone.

I'm sure it breaks the monotony that comes with routine writing.

Hi, Euphemia, you are most welcome I hope that you find them useful.
Our smartphones are bringing so much in the way of productivity, and the technology shows no signs of slowing down. the best way is to just start exploring there are so many things that can help us.
Starting out speaking to your phone can be a bit unnerving, and you can be a bit self-conscious but that doesn't last long, just takes a little practice. I am finding that it helps with the flow of thoughts as well.
It really gives you a different perspective and just adds another way to create content let us know how you get on.

True

What a good idea, working on the run, Alex :)

Hi, Carol, that would be sad if we were working for someone else, it can add so much to the day if we are working for ourselves. It kind of works so that is a real plus.

Superb tips there Alex! I will try that one out soon...
Thanks for that!

Hi, Michelle, I am finding it very productive, if we are busy it can be about squeezing every extra minute out of each hour. Good content ideas can turn up at the strangest of times, a great way to maximize the opportunities.

Hi Alex,
I am not so clued up with my phone, but your explanations are awesome and should be profitable

Hi Stan, many of the devices we use today have so many features built into them it can be about working out what works for us. I hope that you find this useful.

Brilliant advice and one I will be doing. I have had countless brilliant ideas when out, only to have lost the idea on returning to the home base.
With Grace and Gratitude
Karen

Hi, Karen, it can be like that, we are all so busy these days. I guess it is about finding that routine whereby we can save those moments while we go about our days.
