The Real Value of Wealthy Affiliate Some Reflections

For the last little while, I have been tinkering away trying to work out a little system that would suit and help me grow my business model, taking it to the next level, for the life of me I have been unable to do that.Taking the basic package and increasing its potential. Some days it just felt as though I was so close to making that breakthrough but then the more one thinks about things the harder it becomes to arrive at a solution you may have experienced that in your time online.

It becomes way past frustrating and you just can not think of the best or any way to move forward. Even though you are taking steps to make things happen, they are not if that makes sense.

It is nothing spectacular but if I found a solution it would be spectacular for me.

Sometimes it got so close but then it would vanish, I realized that my skill set just wasn't quite there at this time. A lot of this online stuff you kind of need to encapsulate it in a little ball that you can hold up and see right through it, all aspects of it, make it part of your being.

An analogy would be the Rubik's cube give it to a novice and two hours later they walk away in frustration give it to a pro and in what seems like two seconds later they have it solved, give them another one and they do it again.

What!

In my mind there are two aspects to the online world there is creating money and there is creating a lifestyle. Both sort of go hand in hand, probably tending more to the lifestyle end of the spectrum.Recently I have been really frustrated with myself more than anything around me, although I do have a few storm clouds on the horizon. Sometimes life can get crazy.

Just a little background, I have been chasing this domain name, it is central to what I am hoping to create on a new tack. What you will find is that the really good and enticing .coms are usually taken and parked up for investment, they are not being used, just sitting and collecting dust on the shelves.

I got it into my head that I was going to get this particular domain. So I tracked down the owners and made a direct approach to buy the domain, initially they were taken aback in that “ how did you get hold of us “ kind of way and initially they wanted stupid money for it, the value is always in the eye of the holder. It was one of those patient chip away things.

About two weeks ago little snippets started emerging kind of like popcorn in a hot pot on the stove you know how it goes pop.........pop, pop.......................pop, pop, pop and then it’s off.

It has been such a weird experience to observe it unfolding, and it is one of experiences that you can not really share because the folks around you just don't get it, even I am a bit lost for words really, which if you know me at all, is unusual indeed.

Over this period things just started to fall into place, like I say little snippets, it was a comment here, reading a post, placing comments, engaging with folks in the community, revisiting some training, technical things becoming clearer, creating some content, sharing stuff engaging, researching information, just all the stuff that is Wealthy Affiliate.

So nothing related, but yet all related.

The other day I had this moment when everything just arrived I didn't have to think about it, it just was if that makes sense, it had arrived with this sense of clarity.

The building blocks came from WA, came from my association with the platform but more importantly came from the community all the little bits of everything that goes into making this place what it is, kind of like the sum total of all the members........... being part of a very positive collective can be immensely powerful.

The stats for affiliate marketing or anything in the online marketing world are not good. Even in the short time, I have been involved I have seen many folks come and go both here at WA and in the wider internet community, folks that I kind of looked up to and had pegged down as being way more cleverer and knowledgeable than I would ever aspire to be.

I see that Kyle and Carson are celebrating their 12th anniversary I think that WA will be around for many more years to come, it is something really special to be involved in for us as well. At the moment I am just really grateful and proud to be a member of Wealthy Affiliate, so I think I will be around here for a number of years to come as well.

I am now more convinced than ever that WA, helps so many of us travel a lot further, than we would under our own steam. The platform has evolved in so many subtle ways and continues to do so, from immersing in it and creating from our association we too can experience success beyond our imaginations. Don’t be afraid to dream beyond your current state or understanding when the time is right everything will fall into place, take my word for that one.

So I am the proud owner of a new domain name, that I thought at the start of this particular journey I would never be able to obtain, so now the fun begins.
