We are so busy and we are so connected in a virtual kind of way. The internet is starting to shape just about every aspect of our lives, is it bringing value into our lives and making things easier or is it just bringing added stress?

Technology seems to be wrapping its self around us, so in a way, we just fit into it.

If you are into internet marketing then we are more connected than most folks, it is so easy to end up in the "CBD of crazy" without even realizing that you are there.

In the initial phases of establishing any business, we need to expend energy over and above the national average so those 60 + hours can become the norm, most folks arrive and are still working that 9 to 5 so, learning the how-to and applying that knowledge eats into the other time that we have.

Something has to give or is it at the expense of something else in your life. If the process is not managed, it will, in the end, start to suck the life energy out of the whole deal.

Probably painting a picture one that you may be able to relate to.

There, is connected and then there is "super-connected".

It can consume you, the realization came to me that possibly I am just replacing one intense lifestyle with just another exacting online lifestyle.

We hear so much about that laptop lifestyle, once you have immersed it is work and if you have been around for a while you would agree that it is hard work, a numbers game at the end of the day.

Energy in and energy out.

Like all business it takes time, balancing that online-offline, work-life balance can be such an important factor when we are creating a successful, or should I say a sustainable online presence.

There is that saying work hard play even harder, giving that each age has a different stage that can mean many things to us depending on where we sit in our life cycles.

Going hard out all the time can, in fact, become counterproductive, going hard out in a planned and meaningful fashion can produce some very good outcomes and what's more it can bring with it a sense of calmness if that makes sense.

" Developing a strategy and working it can become really satisfying, work in the name of work will only ever be work just as being busy in the name of busy will only ever produce busy ".

A sure-fire way to create stagnation, perhaps.

Sitting down or stepping back and doing that stock take can be a real positive way to galvanize a way forward.

It has been said what can be measured can be managed, I think that is something that we can really focus on, the measuring process whether it is time, assets, outcomes, can help us to see where we are and where we can be.

So we could say that " what gets measured gets managed ", sometimes it can take a little soul-searching, self-talk ( hopefully the positive kind ), and self-honesty.
Do we see ourselves doing what we are doing next week, next month next year?

If the answer to that one is yes then I would love to hear from you, you have cracked the code.

Becoming aware of what we are doing and where we are going can be really empowering.

My stock take too much work, not enough play, then too much lifestyle and not enough work, working to change the formula and get it just right, I guess if we can get the balance right, then we can keep the momentum flowing and flowing.

How does your work life, online life, everyday life, balance stack up?

Thanks for reading, I would really like to hear your thoughts.

Alex Evans.

Hi! Alex, Oh, well for now am so much busy for my local orders, my components for making jewelries come, I double job to meet the deadline of my shipment. Ho! very hard to make money Alex. I thought I am smart but still I am not. Once you see WHERE is the Money, you can not give up! It always Yes!, Yes!, Yes!

Thanks for sharing, Alex.

Hi, Roger, you are most welcome thank you for stopping by, how are things going.

No problem.

Crazy busy, crazy productive, crazy excited, crazy exhausted all at the same time. I noticed that the main word I used to describe my life is... crazy. LOL
Something needs to change!
All the best,
Wendi :)

Classic, Wendi, I think it is something a lot of folks here at WA could possibly relate to, all of us can only maintain a level of intensity for bursts of time if we want to be sustainable, best wishes sorting out your crazy.
The good thing is that we are involved with a sharing and caring community.

Absolutely! This wonderful community has pulled me out of many a bind. I'm forever grateful! :)

Thank you Alex..intense and super busy and just overwhelming is the word I think ..lol..

All good Gus looks like things are under control, full speed ahead.

good onya mate wishing you well

I had a balance during the school year but when summer hit that threw me off at first, I got a balance more kids came so there went my balance. School is going to start soon so things will definitely be better then.

Tried and True

Elaine

Awesome Elaine, you would of enjoyed every minute of that unbalanced time and will enjoy getting back into it. It is such a valid point that you have raised, sometimes life can create the unexpected, or even the planned just happens to take more time than we expected. I guess it it's all about how we function it in.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing. Very interesting things to reflect over

Hi good to see you, glad that you find done value in this post, I see many people arrive and go hard out, only to fade, it is not the easiest thing to do in the world, this online marketing, defining a balanced approach can help us long term.

Balance is good, but sometimes hard to obtain. This is why I do this, to control my balance and be my own boss, as to say..

Thanks for sharing, Don, spoken like a true marketer, there are so many possibilities when it comes to being our very item bosses.

Good food. For thought Alex,

I definitely could benefit from your tools of wisdom. Keep up the good work, Reach your dreams.

Jerald.

Hi Jerald, thank you for stopping by and for your words of encouragement, definitely reaching those dreams and helping others to do the same
The good thing about WA is that there is so much knowledge and wisdom to tap into, it is huge, best wishes as you make your mark.

Thanks for sharing a very revealing article. It has opened my eyes to more questions to ponder.

Hi, Courtney good to see you, to create a business online takes time and to go the long haul we need to create that balance, in our interactions.

This is food for thought, Alex. I recently read a Neil Patel blog post where he made a statement that shocked me. His business time horizon is out 5-10 years!

Hi Glen good to see you, I like that one, looking out that far bingo, I guess what we do and how we do it can help us to create outcomes like that. the reality is that we should all probably be thinking in terms like this, having said that it can be hard to create that vision when we are just starting out.

Well worth taking that time to craft a plan like that one, Neil Patel, you say I am going to check his musings.

Hahaha wooooow!!! Even the billionaires sweated when starting.

I bet Jeff Bezos sweated a bit when he left his high-paying Wall St job to start Amazon and sell books out of his garage. Obviously, the risk paid off.
