Shoutout to Site Support Again You Rock

One of the amazing things about Wealthy Affiliate is site support. Always there, ever helpful, ever efficient, always friendly.

I had cause to seek some assistance yesterday; that dreaded HTTP 500 error. How I roll at the moment is when things go wrong, I try and nut them out on my own. You tend to learn more about stuff that way. Yesterday was an impasse definitely outside my pay scale; a ticket submitted all sorted fifteen minutes later; it would have been faster if I responded to their responses quicker, lol.

All fixed good to go. Back on track.

The thing that struck me yesterday is that I was working away multiple tabs open doing a whole heap of things simultaneously. I am starting to scare myself some days; the interaction with site support was seamless and streamlined; it just flowed. There was no interruption to what I was doing. It made me stop and think.

Who and where is site support?

I got to thinking, I have been here a while, and I know nothing about them, where they hang out. Where are they based, who are they? From observation, WA runs 24/7, reflecting the platform's global nature, as does site support. It is kind of like that " may the force be with you" Star Wars kind of thing. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Site support is definitely, a feature to be promoted.

Some added perspective.

I am currently looking at some software that will require support. It starts at $49 US per hour. You guessed it, the minimum charge out 1 hour. You can go the freebie way, reading some of the feedback, you could wait days to get a response, and it runs to office hours out of time zone. It has that laptop could be heading out the window feel to it. Traveling around the internet, some of the support desks leave a lot to be desired. Please don't get me going on telcos, banks, and insurance companies! It might just be me, but it is not a pleasant experience dealing with some very stressful, to say the least.

First off, let me wish you a happy, healthy New Year. I am so pleased to read your lines.

You are right we cannot shoutout enough to Site Support. Among others.

Let me tell you, from the very beginning I have been astonished by the lessons. This is not obvious, first because I am from the older generation who appreciate the advantages of the new technology but that doesn't make me a techie fan either and second because English is not much present in my life.

I was able to follow the lessons, because the concept is clear and because Kyle speaks in such a clear way in his videos, that anyone with some English knowledge understands him.

Every time I stumbled, they were, on one hand, most friendly and helpful members (one of them is you) and on the other hand a never sleeping discrete most efficient and professional team of supportive dears, who, as you say, remain anonymous, which, I am sure, is also part of the concept of WA.

To me, everything speaks for WA. The best way not to lose oneself and give up is to be here.

I have been involved with a company that had 500 employees over central California. IT support was essential and pretty good with software problems dealt within 72 hours. WA has 10s of thousands of members around the world with software problems dealt with in 24 hours and usually faster. You are right, Alex. Support is a huge benefit with WA.
