Shiny Object Syndrome A Simple Definition
In terms of online marketing shiny object syndrome can be a rite of passage, in so much as it is a phase that many aspiring marketers go through.
" Unfortunately, some folks stay trapped in that cycle of buying product after product looking for that golden solution that is going to propel them to the next level. "
The only good thing about that is that it puts money in the pockets of the selling or promoting that next best thing. Well, there is a right and wrong side of the fence to be on, I will let you marketers work that one out.
With knowledge, it is possible to gain benefits from the products and offers we take up, they are in the most cases tools that can aid us to expand and develop our businesses.
There is a caveat and without sounding like walking, talking, thinking, acting online marketer,
We need to take action, we actually need to take that new product or service out of the packet and actually use it, learn how to apply what we learn and then measure the results or otherwise that we obtain.
We only need so many "anything's " something to bear in mind. We can only use one thing at a time unless we have a team working for us.
"So rounding off Shiny object syndrome is buying a product or service and not using it or taking advantage of it, letting it collect dust on our hard drives. If we are being honest and open a few of us will raise our hands and plead guilty."

One of those breakthrough moments can arrive when we sit down and start to take action and start crafting and creating. Nothing is perfect and most things are in a constant state of change and development and we can add to the development by using that software or app.
In some instances, we do need to adapt things in order to make them work for our business model, the work and motion are well worth the effort if it brings value.
I am kind of becoming a check out your home before you go and check out the rest of the world kind of guy. Here in WA, we have so many resources and they are top of the range, can't help but notice that some folks are continually looking for the next thing or best way when they are already sitting in your little toolbox right here just a click away. Sometimes it is because we are unaware and having said that I am continually amazed that there is something new hiding around every corner and down every corridor within the WA campus.
The knowledge base at Wealthy Affiliate is comprehensive, all we have to do is search it to find solutions to the issues and problems we have.
So the tip for today don't leave home until you have a rummaged through the attic or taken a look in the garage or basement or asked the community, you may just be surprised.

I guess that we come to WA and many still have lingering doubts so continue to look when all we need to build that solid foundation is right here. Just a matter of knuckling down and using all the knowledge and resources to their fullest potential.

I have been guilty of the SHINY OBJECT SYNDROME that you speak of recently. I was and am still looking for ways to increase my income since I have had no income since June. So as a result I am looking for something to pay the bills, I joined another affiliate company a couple of months ago, while everything seemed to be on the level and I was receiving training of sorts, I soon found that the only way to be successful in the company was to make a 60,000 investment with no guarantee of recovering any of my investment within a reasonable time frame and that if I did not make the investment then all coaching and support would be pulled from me. I am no longer affiliated with this company. I say to all before you use a new shiny object look at it closely and see if there are any trap doors that are not apparent when you first look at. I am glad you brought up the subject of the SHINY OBJECT.

Yeah, this is the number set back to many people looking to build a business online. Went through that phase and one the ways I overcame that was to delete all unnecessary email and also to unsubscribe myself many lists.
