Reinventing Your Wheel Can Make All The Difference

Sometimes we may have to look at reinventing the wheel.

Looking sideways can be one of the worst things we can do for our particular journeys. Sometimes, all that motivation and talk of riches can have the opposite effect.

Have you been there yet?

That sinking feeling of " hey what's wrong with me," or even worse when someone running with you pipes up with:

"Hey what's wrong with you, other people can make money what's your story, still wasting your time? "

You may have experienced that on your journey for some, it can be a show-stopper; for some, it leads to that questioning phase.

I mean how long do you keep whipping a dead horse, it is not going to make it go any faster or get better.

It is times like this that we need to step back and reflect. If we listen to the hype making money online can be one of the most natural things in the world to achieve.

Your Online Relationship

When you get into your online relationship, the honeymoon phase will carry you so far down the track, what happens when the cracks start to show, that first argument, that first reconciliation, how do you manage the conflict that evolves within yourself on your journey.

The ability to resolve conflict can be the thing that makes excellent relationships even better.

The thing about online marketing in those beginning phases is that it is a solo experience. No one can honestly share your experience.

Blogging can be one of the hardest things to do in the world, there is more to it than meets the eye, and as they say, much of life is in the eyes of the beholder.

You can be writing up a storm yet at the " word face ", not a gem to found.

When you stop, look around your circle, go as deep as you want, how many people you know, could do what you are doing?

I would suggest that the answer will be not many if any could.

That makes you unique; it is something that we can lose in the translation; you can so quickly lose your self on your journey.

At some point, many can fall to self-doubt; the weird thing is that it is at the point where you are closest to achieving. The scary thing is that if you look around, folks that decide to leave the journey were that much better, than you at the same place.

I haven't added success because that is subjective; we all have our take on it.

It can be about building bridges long enough to cross our oceans. Solid bridges are built on a solid foundation.

It takes some time to build the foundation; the great things about bridges is that they are an excellent way for folks to cross over to where they want to be.That may be folks coming to the content that bloggers create, what is a blog without readers to appreciate it?

Blogging is a process, one that takes time to learn; in the beginning, it is not a business.

People say do this or do that, it will work. However, there are a lot of nuances to creating a monetized blog.

One real thing is that it takes time to become one with these nuances in a world where everyone has an option.

Each step we take can be a step in the right direction.

Reinventing

It could be that we expend energy trying to create something that has been successfully created by someone else or we expend energy trying to solve that problem that has already solved.

That is, counterproductive, and I dare say that at some point in our life journeys, we have pulled up a chair and partaken in this activity.

So many times and for a good reason we can hear the echoes of the successful; don't reinvent the wheel!

They are probably right, who can argue with success.

At some point, though, if things are not going according to your plan. We may have to reinvent what we are doing, step back, and tweak it.

Learning when we should do that can be a work in progress, on your blogging journey. There will be dark days, and when you buy into things, they may not be what they were at first sight.

I came across that image of those two guys chipping away with their picks working towards the treasure just meters away, one guy gives up so close like inches from the cache and walks off, the other guy keeps chipping away.

Well, on the ground there is a lady in a twenty-ton digger, one well-aimed scoop with the digger and she has hit the treasure trove.

It doesn't have to be what we are doing or not; it is about how we are doing it. I learned that a while ago, so if things are not panning out, a slight shift can make a world of difference, a galaxy of difference.

So don't reinvent someone else's wheel look at reinventing your wheel, that is where your dreams and lifestyle is.

Thanks, good to see

Hi Gertrude, you are most welcome, glad you liked this post.
Thank you for stopping by.

How is your WA journey going?

Alex

Yep, keep chipping away. Being doubtful doesn't work. True, “blogging is hard work.” Thanks for sharing.

Hi Brenda, you are most welcome, consistency in all endeavors can be the single most powerful thing that we can do.

It is definetly what makes the difference.

Doubt in any form can be the biggest roadblock to overcome for sure.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, much appreciated.

Super post, Alex.

March to your own drummer. Experimenting is a great teacher to find what works best for you.

Hi Glen, that is well said, in the online world we can find ourselves following and doing the same as everyone else.

One of my early mentors used to say, if taxi drivers are advising on the stock market it is time to sell your stock and hold tight.

I guess the same could be said of bitcoin or Sally-annes cryptocurrency.

I think arriving at that point where we can be comfortable in the decisions and direction we are following is a good day in our progression.

That direction may not be the same direction as everyone else but then our results will not be the same as everyone else's.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

I had success in investing by being contrarian, doing the opposite of what the crowd was doing. So we can do well by not copying what others are doing.

I had a martial arts instructor that always said, "It's not enough to know fundamentals. To be proficient, you must learn technique. To learn technique, you must train and practice."

Hi KC, Martial arts my curiosity is spiked, what style or form do you study, I am involved in Seido Karate which has its headquarters in New York.

That is an awesome quote and so true, in the basics, we have the complexity, so likened to WA we have everything at our fingertips it is just a matter of becoming one with those basics so we do not have to think but just do.

Thank you for your refreshing comment.

Alex

Taekwondo & Hapkido. A long time ago though but somethings stick with ya for life.

That is awesome KC, as long as it is the good stuff that sticks. thanks for sharing.

Terrific post Alex. I know I have reinvented the wheel many times in my business and probably been like the guy in the lower tunnel too. Time to keep the eyes on the prize and push on until the treasure is reached.

Hi Dave, the longer we are involved, we do end up reinventing it can be a case of renewal or fade away into the shadows.

I think we can relate to that guy in the lower tunnel, hindsight can be a great thing as long as we don't dwell on it for too long.

The key can be to continually seek out new ways to do what has already been done.

Finding our own space in the online world of sameness can indeed be where the treasure lies buried.

Thanks for sharing.

Well, well, Great post.
Thanks for sharing

Hi Eli, you are most welcome thank you glad that you enjoyed this post.

How is your journey going?

Alex

Did not get much excited yet, honestly. :)
But I believe I can make it happen at some time with WA's help. :)
Thanks for asking! (Thumb up)

Hi Eli, stick with it and things will shape up for you, sometimes it just takes time to find our stride.

Best wishes.

Thanks for your encouraging message, Alex!
Really appreciated!

Thanks for sharing Alex.

Every day I get closer and a tweak here and there is all it can take.

Darren :)

Hi, Darren, you are most welcome, nothing worse than being lost at sea, when all it takes is that steady hand in the tiller and a clear vision of where we are heading.

Best wishes with the journey.

Alex.

Beautifully said Alex. I'm always tweaking it. I thought I'd do what you said and look around at all my friends and family, which is a huge number, and I could only find one that could do what I'm doing and he has unfortunately passed away. This made me feel do much better with myself. I'm just going to continue chipping away,. That is until I learn to use a jackhammer. Jim

Hi Jim, thank you, tweaking things can be a good way to expend some energy.

Looking for, change keeps things fresh and by going by what Google keeps banging on about................. creating relevant and quality content we are on the right track.

I think that can be an aspect that we can all overlook, how many people can actually do this, I see so many struggle and fall by the wayside.

Being here in WA is unique and creating and crafting online falls into the same category.

So the highway may not be as clogged as we think, definitely room for all.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
