One Out of The WA Crazy Town Files.
This is just so classic, I have been playing around with the SiteRubix builder trying out and changing some themes and plugins on a bit of a test site I suppose you would call it. It is based in the life coaching niche, so trying to create something that was more visual than blog orientated, just exploring different possibilities and playing around, really.
I thought it was shaping up quite nicely, so my thinking is that businesses are more tuned to visual and imagery to convey a message as opposed to a problem, solving blog oriented website, but then again it could be that a combination of imagery and text can create something really special as well.
Like they say it is always in the eye of the beholder.
Well I have been really busy over the last little while and as would have it the Ladd forgot to put a "no index " and " no follow " in the back end settings, kind of missed the email saying the site has been indexed........ but what he did have was his phone number and a contact email along with some tidy content for all the world to see so you can imagine the surprise when he gets a phone call from someone looking for life coaching.
What!
"Just about fell off my perch ".
Some one wise has said;
"Sometimes the gift of the blarney can be a good thing and a blessing in disguise".
So the moral of the story and the moral is this if we do have test sites, then perhaps if you do not want the world to see, it can be a good idea to place a " no index " no follow" on them.
Because, trading off the power of this platform, as sure as the sun is going to come up tomorrow those sites will get indexed and then it can be all on, it was bare bones basic but then again one can never know what is around the next corner or what folks are thinking and sometimes we can be in the right place at the right time audience, content-wise.
What do you make of that one?

Site Rubix is a valuable commodity and resource for us as members especially since free SSL certificates, have been added, it appears as a default setting now and along with the souped-up speed.
We are good to go.

A total classic, who said we were not to have fun on this journey and the thing is that if we combine the knowledge set some good keywords and the resources here in WA and we have a winning combination.
I think I need to live to be 2015 to get beyond scratching the surface of internet marketing.
So true being the captains of our own ships has definite advantages.
I'd say you are now a life coach! Also proves that we just have to go with our gut...we can overthink what we create for our "real" sites. Great share...thanks.

Hi Debbie good to see you, thanks for dropping by, probably don't have the time, the really interesting thing is that I kind of thought that Site Rubix sites were second string, I definitely have changed my perspective on that one, if things are set up and good content added results can be obtained.
So true we can overthink things and create complexity when there is no need to.

Hi Rob, there is a lot of details that we need to pay attention to, looking at this example the online world can be pretty forgiving and things don't have to be the best of the best, sometimes it can be good to hit the publish button and work the details out as we go.

Thanks for dropping by Jamie, how is the journey going. The thing is that every day in business is not the same as any other day, part of the attraction for many I guess. Being able to observe the ebb and flow can be quite empowering, a long way to say it can be good to laugh at our mistakes.
