Not Missing That Crazy Rush Hour Traffic

Ever have one of those days when the hours seem to go at double pace and you just plain run out of time, while working through your city to do list which is just way too long.

Just plain forgot about that rush hour when folks are escaping from their working day life and heading home for that brief respite before they have to do it all over again.

Tomorrow and the next day after that.

Charging through the week for those hours, that can be spent in relative freedom

Something called a weekend I believe.

Getting caught in rush hour traffic

I did get caught out, you know that feeling you get when the lights are green but you are not

moving anywhere, only to eventually get to the front of the queue to be greeted with that red

light that seems to take a couple of centuries to turn green, the minutes tick away and when

you finally reach your destination the office that you were heading to, shut 5 minutes ago.

" One of those, expensive " miss the boat moments ", just had to be there ouch ".

I remember that daily grind and to be honest do not miss it one little bit, and by the looks, on the faces of the folks still stuck in that daily race, they wouldn't miss it one little bit either.

It kind of made me reflective and kind of really thankful, don't get me wrong I love the buzz of the city, but that grind time, I am sure we are designed to pursue a better way of living and working.

The best way to work online is to get in touch with some really good knowledge, some excellent resources, and some top-notch support and the second best thing to do is to work hard and to also share that opportunity with some of those folks trapped in that endless cycle.

If you are still transitioning or planning to transition out of that grind-style, dig it in and do everything in your power to escape and if the energy wavers, just think about where you are at this moment and think to yourself is this all that there is, that should be, shock enough to fire your synapses to get stuck in and give it heaps.

Just having one of my so glad I stumbled across Wealthy Affiliate moments, we have to do it and if we can help others then all the better.

There is a better way and I think we may have found it.

Thanks for stopping by, what do you think?

Hi Alex,
I don't miss that traffic one little bit!! I have been out of work for almost 5 years now (due to medical reasons), but I don't miss the stopping and starting of the traffic. Nor do I miss the people driving like they are the only ones with somewhere to be!!!!

Happy Hump Day,
Donna:)

This happens to us all. I hope to work independently.
Now that I've read it from you I think we are not the only one.
Thank you

Hi Edna, that commute to a job that kind of provides, the trouble is that it doesn't provide enough. We are in an excellent place to create some good outcomes.

If we follow along and apply what we learn there are a whole lot of possibilities.

Thank you for stopping by

Have a great day.

Alex

I am so looking forward to the day that I can work from home. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Liz, I think that we all get conditioned to work and follow the status quo, that is until we are exposed to a set of different possibilities.

Online marketing and blogging are one of those things that we don't know about until we try it out and take it for a test drive.

It can open up a world of possibilities, and along the way new lifestyle outcomes.

I hope that your online journey is going well.

Alex

Great Post Alex and you are absolutely right that is what I call fighting the rat race. when you can work in the comfort of your home and don't have to worry about commuting anywhere. And the best part of it is making more money working at home then working a traditional job.

Mary

That is so well said, Mary, the online world does offer some wonderful possibilities.

We are in a unique online space which enables us to pursue some different and exciting outcomes.

Thank you for your response, so true.

Alex

You are so very welcome Alex it was my pleasure it was a great post and I enjoyed reading it.

Mary

Thank you, Mary, much appreciated.

Mary

Well said Alex.

There is indeed another way of life.

May your WA rush hour traffic be filled with abundant referrals and income opportunities,

Blessings!

Hi Gabriel, now that is the kind of traffic jam no one in these parts would mind being trapped in.

The online marketing world does open up a world of possibilities.

My reflection is that many folks would love to be in a situation whereby they could create a different set of outcomes.

Thank you for reading and commenting much appreciated.

How is your online journey going?

Alex

Alex,

Thanks for the kind words and the inspiration.

I am partially a procrastinator and also currently focused on our Catholic ministry, including having built a non WA but rather a Wix.com website with live streaming/recording of the Sunday Mass capabilities via Zoom, chat, comments, online Bible Study via Zoom and most recently this past weekend I have set up on online shop on the same website. Not bragging, I may be the poster guy for Websites for Dummies but I have found Wix.com fairly easy to use.

I guess I believe in Matthew 6:33 (KJV) "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

I have two active WA websites still under construction however they have both been indexed and both appear on page one in Google.

I get a few referrals from LinkedIn where I have an Affiliate Marketing Group.

I am certain that in time I will be able to do more in terms of my WA dreams.

I saw a cover photo in someone's post here I think which reminded us not to give up on our daydreams and that still resonates with me as with many here I think.

in order to achieve them I plan to continue and complete the training here.

Blessings!

Hi Gabriel, you are a man of faith, that is a powerful reflection and directive that has stood the test of time, one that worked then and continues to work today.

Looks like you are making solid progress, our journey can take twists and turns, the main thing is that we keep exploring different avenues, and build on each success that we experience.

Best wishes for your continued success.

Alex,

Thanks for your kind words Alex,

It is wonderful to be on this journey here at WA with such an amazing worldwide community as fellow travelers, no matter where they are on the path to success.

As an update, my wife has reached out to her friends and relatives and we have started receiving dozens of orders for the T-shirts we sell through our Online Store which will continue to support our ministry, The T-shirts are actually designed and produce by other members of our ministry. The Online Store is really amazing it how well it works and how well it processes orders worldwide.

Blessings!

The big difference now versus when I was still in the workforce is that I am excited to get up and out of bed every morning. I still get up well before dawn. But it is not for the commute to a job. It is to work on my online business. As I write this, it is 5:10 am.

Hi Glen good to see you, thank you for sharing that. Working to live does have its draw backs, so many folks share your sentiments, and doing something that we are passionate about does heaps for the energy levels.

Alex

I don’t see myself ever getting caught up in the usual traffic. My traffic is my to-do-list, and boy is it long!

But I like it 😊

Awesome Jane, that is such a good way to look at things and working through that to do list will bring you traffic at the end of the day.

There is that saying do what we love and you never work another day in your life.

Best wishes, have a productive day.

Alex

Thanks Alex,
I wish you a productive day too.

You sure brought back memories Alex.

Every weekday morning and night for eleven years I motored 30 kilometers along the Auckland Southern Motorway. The trip should not have taken any longer than 30 minutes, or less. Ha ha! Often it would take anything up to one-and-a-half hours each way. That's 3 hours per day spent in a car. Just think what we can do with 3 hours a day at a computer, or even taking pen to paper and drafting a plan or two for our websites.

With a comfortable home office and a WA membership, wonders can be produced and life can be a breeze. Who would want for more!

Hi Valerie, thank you for sharing, in today's world most folks can work the equivalent of half a day just to get to and from work.

I think that you have raised such a valid point just imagine that time spent creating online we are definitely ahead of the game.

Excellent that is so true and what a great way to face each day, you have certainly given us some food for thought, who would want for more.

You will not miss that daily commute.

Alex

It's true we need to spend the time on more meaningful things.

Hi Jiangtao, that is a very good observation, we all of us can get caught up in the busyness of life and working.

The online marketing world gives us the opportunity to explore new directions.

Thank you for commenting.

Alex

Yes
Working from home is the future

Hi Fleeky, I believe it is, given the state of everything, the good thing is that we are in on the ground floor of a very good system.

Not only working from home but the ability to be able to work from where ever we have a connection, it definitely opens the doors to many opportunities.

Have a great day.

Alex
