No Time For Excuses Just Follow and Do

You only have to look at your inbox to realize why the MMO niche is the Pariah of the internet world. It is crazy out there at this time. I think that a lot of marketers do themselves and the industry a real disservice.
If we look at affiliate marketing it is a legitimate way to create income; the trouble is that it gets sucked up into that hardcore over the top, over-promise, under deliver of online marketing make money by lunchtime crazy.
It appears that the sales pitches are getting more abstract and creating expectations way beyond their ability to deliver on their promises.
It is easy to say there is a sucker born every minute.
I think of it as the " let's make money today niche", and so many people are led into it with that falsehood. At the end of the day, it is not their fault.
Free is one of those words that are done to death. It has become a red flag in many quarters. As we all know, nothing is free in this world.
Pain is out there;
Currently, there is pain out there, so much uncertainty. Folks are losing their way to create income, stranded in the middle of skill sets that are not currently wanted and in a position where they can not afford to learn new ones.
I believe that online marketing's time has come if it hasn't already. The time to be in it is now; no one is going to miss the boat. I feel for the folks that are chasing false dreams in the expectation of making easy riches.
The intent and mindset are all wrong, and I wouldn't say it is never going to happen. I have seen so many fail to achieve there goals and aspirations. If we are honest, there is so much crap out there in the market place.
Reading this; is because you are here in Wealthy Affiliate, or you are interested in searching for a legitimate way to create an online income.
Folks are searching;
People are searching for ways to create new outcomes in their lives; over the last little while, there will have been so much re-evaluation going on.
Some times shock and awe can have a fantastic effect on our psyche.
If there was ever a time for doubling down, it is now today. It can be a matter of getting stuck into it; if you are doing two hours a day on it, do four, and so it goes.
There is a vibe;
I am picking up this vibe; there is a growing hunger out there to try something new, to create a new normal to look at the online world for more than just entertainment.
To look for a way to create a sustainable income.
This where WA comes into its own; we can all grow and achieve alongside the platform, not only that we can share and help others to do the same.
That is becoming a unique proposition, given the time there is a growing audience waiting and eager to hear the message.
The time is now, and on reflection, it may just be our time. We do not have to reinvent the wheel; we only have to follow and do.

I agree Alex, the sales pitches are always the same. 3 clicks, instant money, so easy a newbie can do it. Fell for a few of those lies last year. I pointed out the claims were fraudulent and got my money back.
This is the right time for online marketing but we have to be honest that its not a great rich quick scheme and that it takes a lot of hard work and long hours to achieve those goals. There are still too many who appear and start complaining after a couple of weeks that they aren't making money or even 8 weeks in are baffled that no money has appeared because they followed the training and did everything right.
This is a brilliant time to be working online now that so many more companies have moved everything online and more people than ever work from home. Add in that many people are now used to shopping online for everything and you have an affiliate marketers dream.

If only it was that easy.
The winds of fortune are definitely blowing in the right direction for affiliate marketing.
It is something that will continue to grow, exponentially.

The MMO niche thrives on monetizing the pain people are facing. People are facing the pain of not getting results from their online efforts, therefore they are looking for a “solution pill” to solve it.
Therefore, they are all sold on “free”, “more/unlimited”, “fast”, “newbie friendly”, “nothing else required” and of course “money” which are the 5, 6, 7, 8 figures quoted.
Whose fault it is?
These are savvy marketers who know these triggers people respond to, which is our brain saying to us. That may be what I need to solve this pain, and we react to that.
Unfortunately, these are the same triggers (words) we use but it would then be associated with these campaigns that fail to deliver and we are “profiled” together.
I don’t know about others but my experience is, it is what it is. We accept it and move on to find our “value or differentiation” if we want to be in this niche or “do it like everyone else.”
Therefore, the focus on creating long term value is necessary for differentiation but it won’t happen overnight. One have to find their place or niche in this environment and build it up.
Every day that passes, in which we choose not to follow and do, we lose another opportunity to build up our value.

There are two groups of people, those that are new to the industry and have no real understanding.
And the second people who are involved, yet keep jumping from program to program, still searching for that short cut.
Like all things it takes work, that factor is lost in the narrative.
True like you say every day we do not follow it us another day of lost opportunity.

Being a recipient of a number of 'newsletters' I would say you are on the money, no pun intended.
Staying true to ourselves and to not get caught up in the fervor. Integrity needs to be at its utmost as we make sure we are the ones that keep our promises and over-deliver, all the while being committed to offering the best possible value.
Well said, Twack, one of the keys to succeeding in a new landscape is to deliver value and remember that we are doing it to provide help and applicable information.

I know what you're saying. My Facebook stream is currently being inundated with opportunities. I decided to click on a new one I hadn't seen before. It promised free membership for life and no upgrades. The very first thing to hit my eye when their page came up was 'UPGRADE'. I decided to take a look through their system, it was something I was interested in and an area of training we tend to lack in WA, ecommerce. Well... The cost of upgrading was phenomenal. I decided to leave and stick to figuring it out on WA. Jim

Make the mistake of clicking on an ad and you will face a tsunami of offers.
The same thing has struck me. Dollar for dollar WA is the best bet spread the word.
