It's A Long Way To The Top If You Want To Blog and Roll

Someone said it was about creating an online business no one said anything about writing.

Say what I can't write to save my self, no way can't be done. The ship will run aground before it makes it past the rocks at the entrance to the harbor. Some of the hardest characters that you will ever create are the first fifty words and then someone famous said " if you can talk you can write".

So it is all good

The second hardest thing is creating the next 100 then 300 then 500 then 5000 then 300,000 words.

At the end of the day like everything in this sweet life, it comes down to backing your self. Back your self and you will always succeed.

Get the mindset right and you can do anything as long as you remember to take the odd breath. Breathing is the source of life, get the breath right and the ideas will flow it is just a case of catching them on the way through before they float away and disappear back to where they came from, when they are spun into words they are a gift to be shared.

Everyone has a message trapped inside looking to get to the outside, to see the light of day. All we need is that vehicle to express the ideas, emotion, feelings, knowledge, and wisdom that is lurking inside us all.

We all have it and once we get over the, I can't write syndrome we can be away on a fast bike.

Blogging Can Be a Slow Dawn

Starting out in the blogging world it is kind of one of those unknowns if you knew how hard it was going to be you would have probably flagged it before you began. Once we get into it we can become good and respectful friends, writing can become a life-sustaining passion, a way of life.

In the beginning, phases where we are alone on the stage staring out to the audience of no one, an empty hall filled with chairs and that lonely smell that old halls get from neglect. It can be hard, you look around and many folks that are your contemporaries have grown wings and are soaring in the skies, while your words fall like rain into the dust bin, in the corner of the room.

Then one day

Your lonely words decide it is time to start speaking for you in your absence.

No one said it was going to be easy and then again no one said it would be hard, like all things in life we just don't know till we try.

For many the finish line is way before they are finished if that makes sense, if we look at the online world there is so much content being created and published on a daily basis, one shudders when you think in terms of competing on the world stage.

The thing is that we can, learn the processes and craft the words that speak and reach out to folks and they will listen. It may seem like a foreign concept, we just need to turn up every day, and all we need to bring is ourselves.

I am not a writer's writer,

Just someone that likes to write and with each piece you hone your craft you effectively get better at delivering your message when you look around you see folks fall along the way, were they better than you, or was it that we were just too thick to quit?

I find that scary, some folks could write up a storm, just so talented, it was if writing and engagement came so easy to them, it was perplexing and transfixing at the same time.

Fingers tapping on the keyboard, cranking out that content, as we all know it's way harder than it looks, some days the words just flow and others that keyboard may be flying through a closed window at any moment, if indeed the device is fired up at all, and then some days the ideas just fall onto the page like magic, some days you are in the zone. Not sure of where things are coming from, the read back can be as if someone else was writing those words.

It was you, well if that doesn't beat all you are a writer's, writer after all.

Along the path there are, countless breakthrough moments, self-belief and confidence don't come in a box of breakfast cereal, they can not be brought they accumulated from the experiences that we create.

It can be a long way to the top if you want to blog and roll !!!

But who, would swap it for anything in the world there is too much fun and adventure to be had? Who would have thought that your words could and can create a future free of normal, or is it that we are moving to a new normal and just haven't realized?

The crowd chimes in...................... in agreement

We know, it's a long way to the top if you want to blog n roll !!!

Worth every minute and every single moment and then some.

Party time...................................................................

Love it...thanks for sharing:)

Hi Gina, you are most welcome glad that you enjoyed this post, we are all on a journey and the cool thing is that we get to share it with some amazing folks.

I hope that your journey is going well.

Alex

Dear Alex,
I like that rock and roll song you are playing the blog muzack to. I hope my notes find you well. You have a good point and awesome race cars too.

I find what you write inspiring to others who have thought of blogging then get the imposter syndrome.
I better eat my Wheaties if I'm gonna put this inspiration to good use.
Right now, what speaks to me is your call to daily action. I really appreciate what you have written, writer's writer.
Thank you & kind regards,
Nurse Becca

Hello Nurse Becca,
There is nothing quite like creating with that sense of urgency, cars and speed kind of go together.

Lyrics and songs and words kind of all go together and spin around and around.

It can be like that, one of the main reasons that people depart this opportunity is that they feel that they do not stack up, the whole WA trip can be so subtle whether by design or evolvement I am not sure at this stage.

However, if we stick at the knitting we can create something special and what an environment to do it, there is nothing quite like sharing the journey with the like-minded.

Daily inspiration, needs to be shared the more we create the better we become at doing just that.

Thank you for your kind words, have an awesome day.

Alex.

Nice put!!!!!!!!

Hi Theodore, good to see you, glad that you enjoyed this post, we can all get to where we want to be, just a matter of deciding on where it is and working towards achieving that outcomes we have set for ourselves.

Alex

Alex,
I hope that you can help me with some ideas for a website.

Very creative and so positive! Outstanding....
Regards,
Billy

Hi Billy, good to meet you, hope that your journey is going well.

We are in the right place to create some new outcomes, and we can all do it and achieve the results that we want to.

Thank you for stopping by.

Alex

Thanks Alex, I am a newbie in this....but not for long! WA has already become my home. I am here to glean everything I can from those of you more experienced than I.
You see, an Old dog can learn new tricks. Especially when two long-term dreams threaten to come to fruition in the same place...at the same time.
I've been interested in my own website for some time....I have also dreamed of writing in some form or another for even longer.
The sudden knowledge that both are possible in this venue staggered me!
I embrace the challenge....
Regards,
Billy

Way to go, Billy, you are creating the perfect storm for yourself and one that will bring very good outcomes.

It can be hard to believe that we can create new outcomes, that is what WA provides with the knowledge, resources and support a winning combination.

Alex

So encouraging! On this blogging journey, I am learning that a writers becomes great writers as they continue to write! So as I get over procrastination and perfectionism and just keep writing, I know I will be a great writer in time.

Hi T, I hope that your journey goes well,

A mentor once said to me,

" Hit the publish button and edit on the fly".

Easier said than done at times.

We are all on a journey and writing is central to this particular journey, having that self-belief can be central to achieving the level of success that we desire.

I like how you have claimed your future,

You are going to be a great writer.

Best wishes.

Alex.

So glad you are learning to enjoy writing a bit. I'm one of the lucky ones who has no trouble with words...it's the technology that throws me for a loop. However, we all just work through our problems and all come through the door at the end of the day.

That is so true Fran, I like that saying as it conveys so much, at the end of the day we do all come through that door.

We all have those things that perhaps we need to work through, which kind of makes this journey so enjoying, one would have to say that no two days are the same.

Things do fall into place as we travel along.

Thanks for sharing.

Alex

Hi Alex, mine should be research and roll...my gosh...I'm going to blow my PC up with all the research tabs open. I've never been much of a writer...but I have to admit....it's starting to get kind of fun...creative in a weird sort of way.

Thanks,
Cal

Awesome, Cal, tracking down and correlating that information can be the fun part of the whole deal, I know the feeling it can be amazing how many tabs can run at the same time.

You are well on the way when we can cross over that too serious bridge things do start to fall into place.

It can become fun.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing.

Alex

Love this...thanks for the encouraging words...I can hear the song when I read your blog....lol..

Classic Susan, it has that catchy riff that can go around and around in your head.

We all have it in us, just a matter of finding some of that passion and setting it free.

Thank you for stopping by.

Alex

Nice twist of words and love the descriptive writing. And thumbs up to the encouragement. Yes you're right, blogging really ignites something in you, and next thing you know you're tapping away enthusiastically at the keyboard. Rock on!!

Hi Pam, thanks for your kind words, it can take time to fall into the writing slipstream, it is definitely worth the effort, and once there is only one thing to do and that is to keep going.

A very enjoyable and satisfying process.

Alex

Extremely well put 👍

Hi Nigel, it can take time to get to the launching pad, we just have to stick at it and create our own flow.🎯
