What does the wise bull do?

The wise bull at the gate opens it and walks on through, rather than charging it down at every opportunity. The bull at the gate has the ability and strength to charge especially if that gate is bright red, well maybe not all day every day.

This online journey is a long haul marathon, much like that gate in front of us, hurdle if you like, it is a unique person that can continually run at full intensity day in and day out, crashing through each wall as it appears.

Haven't really meet any folks that can, I know that you may be different, at some point, there will be a need to rest to pull back take stock, reflect and recharge.

Creating and maintaining that balance is the key to longevity.

The failure to do that will result in one thing you will go stale give up and walk away.

I see so many folks land here and charge full steam ahead like there is no tomorrow, from observation the sun will come up tomorrow and the day after that as well. When things are new we have that excitement and euphoria,

Talking to some it can be rather intoxicating.

People coming up to you and wishing you well urging you on to success, it can be energizing.

Some folks dive on in and some folks come and then leave only to return a few days later and then leave only to return, a gradual process, of building step by step, doing the lessons and creating that website.

If you get the sense that you are spending way too much time here while walking through to your classroom or on your way to your website then put the blinkers on, bring some focus to your journey.

Most importantly if you are that bull at the gate do your self a big favor just quietly open the gate and stroll on through, that will help you long term.

It's not about the speed with which you reach your target it is all about getting there full stop.

Create and Maintain a Pace That Works for You

It is all about creating a sustainable pace, one that we are comfortable with and for the folks that have families and loved ones around them selecting a pace that is comfortable with those folks as well.

Every time we are torn with our loyalties it is less time that we are focused on the tasks that we should be doing.

Just noticed a few folks going off the boil, just maybe one too many gates knocked down rather than negotiated at a sustainable pace.

We all have to be mindful about the energy expenditure, and starting out make the connection, in doing so we will build the stamina.

To pull that 15 hour screen day takes training in its self, it requires, an understanding about where your pressure points are and the ability to know your flow, when to go hard out and when to pull back, when to rest and recharge.

That only comes with time, so even if you feel energized today just remember that to be able to be going next month, next year, we all need to start managing our best asset, and that is us.

You are the best asset that you have at your disposal.πŸ€”

Everyone is different we all have our own flow, we just need to be in touch and remember it is our race that we are running.

Best wishes getting your flow into balance. I know that I am preaching to the choir, sometimes I just need to remind myself. πŸ˜ŽπŸ€”

How do you create your work life, home life and your online work life in balance?

Thank you for reading.

Hopefully some grist for your mill.

Thank you Alex
Great post & a reminder to all here at WA.
I am certainly not a bull at the gate - LOL
Often I find the gate is difficult to open.

I am progressing at a snail's pace in the training here at WA, partly due to a personal issue which is limiting my time training. Hopefully I can see light at the end of the tunnel & I can devote more time & learn from the wonderful family here at WA.

Denis

It may feel like you are not making progress, Denis, it can take time the important thing is that we keep going even though it may feel like we are slow. when the time is right the pace will pick up.

Time spent in the beginning can pay dividends down the track.

Best wishes Denis you will get there I am sure.

Alex, thank you for sharing another amazing post full of important lessons.

Balance is important. Even those of us that try to balance still need to take the time to evaluate our balancing efforts from time to time.

In addition to opening the gate; we should also be willing to follow the well worn cow trails. Cattle follow the well worn trails to get back to feed, water or a shady place. They know those trails will take them where they want to go. The training at WA is similar to the cow trails. If we venture off, thinking we know a better path or a short cut, our success will take longer.

That is an awesome comment there Sondra, well said, it is that human trait we are juggling 3 balls in the air why not chuck another couple into the mix and make it 5 on the go.

I like the one about cow trails they do that and some of those trails are so well worn and one thing about cows they are so inquisitive just like we should be.

One of the biggest issues that we face is wandering off the trail it can add years to the journey.

I think the key can be to be mindful of where we are at, sometimes we will be full noise and sometimes there will be times of reflection, it can be about learning and working with our flow.

Thank you for dropping by.

So true....

Timely given the super affiliate challenge kicking off.

Balancing life at times is challenging but doable.

Thank you for a great share Alex.

It can be indeed, we all seem to be busy all of the time. Taking time to be mindful can really pay dividends
.
Good to see you Maxine and thank you for stopping by.

You're most welcome Alex

Balance is the key for a healthy lifestyle

So true, Tommy and in the online world especially so, with our busy lifestyles it can be an ongoing work in progress, one that is well worth pursuing.

Thank you for dropping by Tommy.

Balance -- that is certainly key,and sometimes very challenging.

Hi, Fran, it can be the thing that makes all the difference, especially with inline endeavors. Like you say it can be a work in progress is we are mindful and aware it can become an easier path to tread.

Thank you for passing by Fran much appreciated.

I just go at my own pace. Little bit each day. Some days more.
Thanks Alex excellent post.

Hi, Mickey looks like you have got your routine sorted, finding what works for us can be the thing that makes all the difference, long term.

A timely reminder for everyone to smell the Roses. Regards Shane.

Hi, Shane, that is such good advice, we can all get so busy, that we forget to take time out.

It's a matter of steppin the right dance Alex.

Hi, Mike, you have such a good way of putting things, it can be exactly how it is, all the better if we enjoy the dance.

It's really is most excellent advice. Not just for the online journey but in life as well.

There has been a lot of water flow under the bridge including more than a few floods, so eventually, something sinks in.

Finding that balance can be the key to much of the secret sauce of life.

I see so many folks come charging into the WA journey, it is a process and it takes time and the sad thing is if they take their time they will last beyond the 6 to 12 weeks that they will be here.

Which is only three months.

Thanks for stopping by Twack, much appreciated.

Always a pleasure Alex. In many jobs out there, three months is near enough the 'probation' period. After that you can start to really learn your craft and how many years can that take.

So true, getting across the threshold can be the easy part, developing that second nature ability can take the time.

Thank you I got some grass to mull on 😊😊🀣

Classic Snazzy, just watching so many folks tipping off the edge, to be seen no more, it kind of makes me feel for them.

Some reflection and perhaps taking that mindful approach can be the thing that makes all the difference at the end of the day.

You are going so well.

I certainly hope so too, but the struggle is real, however I am a do or die, so I will stick it till my first two years and see from there...😁 Besides I like your fresh grass lol

Awesome.😁
