50,000 Comments Placed on WA,
Just ticking along not breaking any records, just doing my own thing and came to the realization that I had just clicked through a milestone.
50,000 comments placed on the WA platform,
Some folks will have done far more I am sure.
In my head it is a case of "you cannot be serious ", it is kind of abstract and surreal, when we start out we have that sense of expectation and as we travel along, the online journey has a habit of morphing in directions that at the beginning, we have no real sense of and can only remotely dream of.
From observation, we all go through similar phases, at similar times of our journey no one seems to be immune, so when you say I won't do this or you express that you should not do that, invariably you will end up doing the opposite.
Experience is the best teacher in all things and of all things.
Over time one gets to observe the various seasons as they evolve here on the platform, some seasons help to propel us forward and some kind of slow us down, some need an intervention, it is a continual ebb and flow.
One of the things that continue, to give me a great deal of pleasure is watching folks landing here, finding their way, spreading their wings and taking off and soaring, and gee whiz is there not a lot of successful and creative folks in our community.
Some folks get a little confused along the way and that is okay it is part of their journey and what usually happens just like water they find their own level as they progress, and then they tend to come back around.
One of the things that I find sad is watching folks land and for whatever reason watching them tread water and then slowly drift away, some flag the online journey altogether and some you see pop up elsewhere online still searching for their breakthrough.
It is all here!
Believe me, when I say it is all here, when you read and observe over time you can get a feel for it and the knowledge base just keeps on expanding on a daily basis. The thing that we all need to do is make the most of what is available to us, I do not always do that, it can be a work in progress and some times it is not necessary to reinvent the wheel. When we realize that, it can be all systems go.
We can learn so much from our interactions with the community and like all communities we are only as strong as the individuals that go to making it what it is.
Strength in numbers is what makes us strong.
Some folks you never see, I presume that they are still here and that they are doing extremely well.
Some folks you see all the time and some folks only occasionally.
One of the best things that we can do for our online journeys is to translate the WA flow into our own language, (not your speaking native language but the how you roll language ) that is the thing that will give our individual journeys the right energy to make it happen for us, not only that but we can share that energy with all that we come into contact with.
It can take a time to understand what WA is all about, I have been here a while and think that I only became a local last week.
Finding that balance between interaction, engagement and working on our independent businesses can be the thing that defines us, as marketers.
One of the best things that we can do is to keep focused on the road ahead, and when we see our brother or sister fall or trip themselves up just stop by and help pick them up, wait while they dust themselves off and then send them on their way.
As we know this week is special in the WA calendar with the Black Friday promotion, there will be an influx of new and excited members all keen to take full advantage of the opportunity, so looking forward to the continued sharing of ideas, information, life events, business tips, and advice, and anything that helps us to achieve and reach beyond our own scope and abilities, is good in my books.
The Wealthy Affiliate journey is way beyond creating that first website.
This is truly a unique space in the online world and one that will continue to grow and expand, a really safe learning environment that gives folks the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential.

A very nicely done post, Alex. Most observant and on point. I've been part of the ebb and flow here going on 3 years now. No plans on ever leaving either, because there simply is no other platform that provides so much for the investment in resources and fellow members.

Folks do come and go and some folks come here and stay, one of the really cool things is that we stay and keep on learning, growing and sharing.

I would call that your first breakthrough moment, coming to WA it is definitely a case of just following along plenty of time down that track to get super creative. It is in us all most important is that we build a solid foundation to launch from.

One of the things that separate WA into a league of its own is the fact that other members are genuinely and sincerely interested in seeing others succeed, and only to keen to lend a helping hand.
When we look at our modern world there are not many places or platforms where that occurs.
