Perfection Game - Don't Move a Finger Until You're Perfect!
I read Kyle's blog post yesterday on striving for perfection.
What perfect timing! ;)
For a few weeks now, I've been thinking it was the time to do my first tutorial here.
Had no idea how to do it, and was waiting for the perfect time & the perfect subject.
Well, I waited and waited, nothing perfect came along so, decided to take the plunge yesterday and write it anyway.
TAKE 1
The subject matter of my tutorial is so simple; also the tutorial itself is quite short.
I thought it would take me an hour at the most to write it.
Ha! It took me a good part of yesterday to create it, and then....wait for it.... I ERASED IT BY MISTAKE!
TAKE 2
The next scene in this short film might be called "Tears of frustration"!
I gave up altogether, but only for a few moments.
Started it again, got everything mixed up this time...
TAKE 3
...had to start again!
Finished it this time, and was super happy I did.

STRIVING FOR PERFECTION HOLDS US BACK
(and not saving your work while writing ;) )
Even though, I had to put my writing for the blog here, and for my site on hold yesterday, I feel it was a productive day.
I learned something new, so it was all worth it.
To reiterate Kyle's message: don't wait for perfect conditions, they don't exist.
Just do whatever you need to do, make your mistakes, correct them, and there you have it - the recipe for improvement and success!

The Plan For Today!
- look after my toddlers
- do the research for the new site blog post
- write a new blog post (this one is going to be long 3000-4000w so might not be able to finish it today, but will try!)
What is your plan for today?
Are you perfect?
Does it matter?
Have a great day wherever you are!
Thank you for reading this post :)

I agree that Kyle's post about waiting for perfection couldn't have come at a better time. I tend to put things off while waiting for the right time. This subject matter was exactly what I needed to put things in perspective.
You will probably never post anything if you wait for perfection. Get your articles published and help others who are looking for that information.

Perfection means that there is no room for failure or error. In fact failure to really important part of the Learning Curve
As Kyle pointed out. It's a senseless quest. All business success is based on risk and risk abhors perfection!
Yes, you are so right in pointing that out.
I've always been a musician so the business side of 'life' has mostly eluded me. Until I had to find ways to change things and found WA.
Now I learn every day, how to run a business and sitting around waiting for perfection seems like such a waste of time.
Best,
