How To Rank On First Page of Google - a Report and a Tip
Hello WA Friends
This will be just a short(ish) post, to document the Google rankings of my site articles.
My site is 5months old, and I can see my posts ranking now on the1st page and one (and occasionally a couple) even in position #1.
I'm really pleased about this, since this is all just the SEO magic (Thank you: Kyle, Jay).
I haven't seem much success from Pinterest as yet, but that's fine because I've just started it.
Here are some screenshots: (and more text after the screenshots) :)
:)
A daily report:
Around 25 of my posts are on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd pages of Google, and the other 30 are waiting their turn to shine :).
For ranking these posts, I have only implemented what Kyle and Jay teach.
I've watched Jay's training on how to rank in Google many times, and I'd suggest to everyone who would like to rank in Google to do the same.
I discover something new every time.
Here is the link to Jay's SEO training: 21 Minute Ranking Method in 7 Steps
I still don't have any backlincks (as far as I know), but I guess that I can work on in due time.
To be honest, I don't even know where would I start with the backlinks... I've read so much about it and watched all the WA, Baclinko, Patel...trainings, but still feel none the wiser. So, I've decided to leave it for later.
Right now, I'm concentrating on publishing (almost) every day, working on my email marketing set-up, Pinterest, FB page, and finishing Bootcamp (hopefully this month).
I've had 14 referrals in total since December, but none has upgraded to Premium. Let's hope some do soon ;)
So, that's all from me for now, I wish you all a productive Friday!
:) Alenka

Way to go, Alenka. Yes, I also use Jay's 21-minute ranking tutorial. I fact, I wrote out all the steps so I can review them with every post to make sure I remembered everything. That's a good tutorial!
I did as well! But, after 55 posts, I think I might now know it off by heart lol
Best,
Alenka
thanks for sharing this! I'm going to go back and rewatch the training you posted and see if I can do better! I'm still not at posting every day but I am sticking to the one a week post and that's kinda fun.
Hello
Yes, do have another listen if you get a moment. I usually listen to Jay's webinars while ironing or cooking (if my children are not too loud at that particular moment lol!)
You don't really need to post every day unless you are in the MMO niche... Once a week is great too! Whatever suits you. As long as you are working on your site, things are fine!
:)
Best,
Alenka
Hi Alenka, I love your article, thank you! Regarding these videos you mentioned, I think I have to review them all again, is this the video you were referring too in your article (Jays' REO training) or are there others too that you can recommend?
Hey Erik
Thank you for your comment and for reading my post. Glad you liked it.
Yes, it's the video I was referring to. This is the step by step training and all you need to rank high.
I do also watch Neil Patel and Backlinko videos and read their posts. They are, of course, excellent.
But, in the end, when you digest all the available information, you actually go back to the basic rules and they work. They really do.
Btw, I see you are in a very interesting niche.
I'd love me some brain-boosting magic! In case you have a moment, is there any chance you could send me more info, please? Thank you!
Have a great evening,
Alenka
Alenka, you are doing just great. Continue what you are doing and you will have success.
Online marketing is purely a numbers game. The more referrals, the more chance of them going Premium. The more posts written, the more chances of getting ranked on Page 1
etc etc
Keep up the great work
Jon and Debbie
Hi Jon and Debbie
Thank you for your encouragement!
Yes, you are right. It is a numbers game, but not an easy wait all in all lol
I'm impatient to get the ball rolling. I'm sure it will happen this year, or better say, I'll work like I have no other choice but to make it :)
Best,
Alenka
Yo! You're really kicking some serious butt!
I think you're doing just fine at the pace you're going and in the direction you're heading!
If you're interested in getting some "high-quality" back-links I suggest "guest-writing" for a reputable blog that is in a niche which is similar to your own!
There are, essentially, 3 types of traffic that one can acquire online:
1. Organic Traffic (Through SEO and SEM)
2. Paid Traffic (Through Face Book ads, Good Ads, YouTube ads, ect.)
3. Earned Traffic (Through "sharing" of your content through mediums like Face Book, Pintrist, Instagram, etc...)
Back-Links tend to be the result of #3 which is "Earned" traffic through the sharing of your content on other sites by people who visit your site. It is not quite the same as the back-links which used to be created by bloggers before Google's 2012 "Penguin" algorithm update. You kinda have to have to have your content "shared" for it to be counted these days.
You could (theoretically) pay someone with sufficient "influence" to promote your content or "guest-write" for a more well known blog an, as a reward, place a link back to your site from theirs. In this way, you'll be able to leverage the greater traffic of their site or their influence to steer some of that traffic to your site.
Just an idea.
Anyways, you're doing super great, I'm very excited for you! I'm only ranked #1 for a few of my articles, so I'm envious of you haha
Keep it up!
Hey, thanks so much for your fab answer to my back-link conundrum!
I understand it better now, thank you.
Don't think I feel confident, yet, to approach anybody to write for their blog. But, maybe in a few months.
Congratulations on your posts ranking so high!
With your knowledge and such an amazing understanding of how traffic works, I'm sure, you have nothing to be envious about (but, very kind of you to say that :) )
Have a great evening/day!
Alenka
