My Website Doubled Its Traffic and it looks like is working better!

Hello everyone!

After a few weeks of not posting much here at Wealthy Affiliate, yesterday I got some good news to share.

I have not been blogging much here at WA but I've kept working on creating new content for my websites, and this has been keeping me working hard to create enough new posts for my old website and to my new sites.

Feeling Down and Starting To Get Seconds Thoughts About Working On A Website.

To be honest, I need to say the last three weeks were hard for me, even I kept working every single day creating new content for my websites, (one post per day), this made me feel a little tired.

When I checked the traffic on Google Analytics and Serch Console, the results were far from good.

There were some days I wanted to take a break and see if this could be fixed somehow.

- Well, I think this has happened to many of us, not once, maybe twice and sometimes very often, as we all keep working to build up a website.

My Strategy To Double The Traffic On My Website

As always, I got the best advice from my husband, who also is my sponsor here at WA

- You're doing great, just keep at it!

But this time, he also told me.

- Yes, I feel the same way, but we don't have another choice, so keep at it.

Find The Best Keywords For Your Website, and For Your Niche

The last weeks I've been working to find the best keywords to write new posts for my website.

As you might know, if you have read some of my previous blogs here at WA, I'm working on the crafts niche, I make quilts.

This time, I got the idea to create a series of posts, so if a reader wanted to make a quilt, he or she will need to read 20 posts, or a lest a good number of posts to get an idea to make the quilt.

This kept me working hard for 10 weeks!

But the results are here.

My site written in Spanish, my mother tongue, was getting a good number of daily visits, over 100, then it went down to 40, 50.

But I kept working on it, two new posts per week!

Then one morning, I checked the traffic on this website on Google Analytics, it was getting better, 60 t0 80 visits per day!

This past week, the traffic went up to over 100 and some days this website reached the amazing amount of traffic up to 125 or 140 visits per day.

One day, this website gave the nice surprise 12 people were reading my blog, but then at that moment the count went up to 20 people reading my posts!

This showed me something:

Even, if you feel somehow discouraged by the results of your website, keep working on creating new posts, one day, you will create that post or posts that your readers want to find on the internet.

Closing.

My other sites are also doing better this past week, and the traffic is getting better.

My new site, I think this site is still in the sandbox, but I managed to write for this new site, 13 blog posts in less that one month, so I think it will get better.

Oh, before I close this blog, you might be wondering about how much money I'm making.

Well, I'm happy to say, my Spanish blog is doing better, it was making just a few cents a day, but it started to make from 1 to 2 dollars per day.

It might not be much money for you, (or me) but when I make the numbers I can see some good future here.

1 dollar per day x 365 days = 365 dollars - it can help to pay some blogging bills

2 dollars per day x 350 days = 730 dollars, it can pay all my blogging bills and I can invite my husband out for dinner one day!

Ok, my friends, the lesson learned here is, getting better traffic for my website is all about how good I am working on it.

Try new keywords, try new content ideas, try, try, and try, and it will show you what your readers are looking for.
