I Got An Email From Pinterest!
Hello everyone!
As you know, I've been busy creating content for my niche site and building an online business to make a full income from it.
It requires lots of thinking and lots of smart work, (now I know that)
I know many of you came here to Wealthy Affiliate to do the same, I did that 4.5 years ago, and it took me a while to understand and learn how to work on it.
A message for new members, keep at it, don't quit, it will get better as you work on it.
Today I want to share some "yahoo moments I got this week"
I will share some steps I'm currently working on to grow my tribe, and start making a real business based on what I love to make (quilts)
I think you can take some tips from what I do, and they might work on your own niche too.
The story goes like this:
This year I signed up to the SWAG, I follow it every month for the first months, then I went to Mexico for 5 years and I got behind in the group, but I made a decision here:
I will keep working on my own pace keeping in my mind Kyles tips and advises!
How to create content for my blog.
Before I used to create content just because I have to, today I take a moment to check what my target client will love to learn from me.
Then, I put that idea onto paper, and then into fabric (quilts) from that I work to create a new tutorial to share on my website with a video on YouTube, I keep busy for the next two days.
When the new tutorial is done, I publish it at the same time on my website and on YouTube.
This moment is crucial:
Keep my fingers crossed and wishing my followers like it!
Check on the statistics.
Every morning I check the statistics on Google Analytics and see how many visitors I got, that will help me to know if I'm creating the right content.
Don't forget about Social Media.
The same day as I publish the new content, I share it on Social Media.
One way to see if the new content is liked by my followers is to see if the new content gets likes and shares!
Today I can say the new content I publish is getting likes and shares, some less and some more.
I got an email from Pinterest
One of my favorite movies from all times is I got an email!
the movie is about love and romance, who doesn't like that!
But when you are working hard to build up an online business, there's nothing more amazing that getting an Email from one of the Social Media platforms to let you know!
"Your PIN is a HIT!!!!"
As soon as I read it, I told to myself, Yes, Yes, Yes!
And I opened the email - I had to check what of my content published lately is the one that is getting more likes!
Cool!
I made this new tutorial, as a way to help quilters around the world on how to make a humble little coin purse.
I never thought it was going to be welcomed in a big way like this!
So I had to check this pin on my Pinterest account.
Not bad at all, this pin is only one week old and it has already over 2K views.
I must tell you that you see 3 identical pins here, and the reason why is this.
When I publish the new content on my website, I just wait a few hours to share it on Pinterest.
From my website I share the new content on my Pinterest account to a board, but as I have different boards to help my clients I need to share to those boards from my website.
Before, I used to share the PIN to one board on my Pinterest account and from there I used to share it to other boards. - This is not good for Marketing your online business - And Pinterest will not like it.
I learned that it is better when you share a NEW PIN from your website to each board.
From this photo you can see, this new content on my website can reach more people and it will get more visits to my website.
At this point, I'm so happy on how well this new tutorial is doing, with only one week old, I know it will be doing better as people keep sharing it on their Social Media accounts.

From this point, I had to check how my business is doing in general.
OMG!!!
And the winner is!
On this photo, you can see how I'm creating a branding for my online business, I'm not a big guru but I've learned a little.
When people are looking for a new tutorial to make on my niche, they can see one PIN is mine.
I share on this photo my latest blog content, these posts are doing very nice!
If you check on my previous blog post, they are not doing so good, but these are doing OMG!
The one with the yellow arrow has already over 58K views, that is a huge number!! and it has almost 300 visits to my website in less than one month!
Not bad at all, have you notice the title?

Facebook.
This past week, my once ghost town Fans Page is doing great, every week I get new followers, I'm still in low numbers, but I see people are giving me likes and shares!
So I will keep working on this Social Media!
Every follower is important to me.
I take my time to answer every comment I get there as soon as possible and I also thank every share my followers make from my new post on Facebook!
A few months ago, my Facebook page was totally ignored by everyone, today I get this report from Facebook every week.
My post reached 1.5 K, with 740 engagement, and I got 7 new likes to my Fans page.
This means, my website is getting visits and people are getting interesting on what I do!

YouTube.
This year has been busy for me creating new videos to share on my channel.
What can I say about this! - I just love it!
I've learned a lot about how to create videos tutorials to share on my channel and about how to edit it.
My YouTube channel got its first 500 followers today and I'M SO HAPPY!!!!
I reached my first goal today!!
Yes, I'm so happy to check how my new content is working great for me and for my business.

This week I'll be busy working on writing down on paper some new goals for my business!
This year I've learned a lot here on Wealthy Affiliate.
Today, it's not easy to create a huge online business from one week to the next one, but it is possible when you get the best training and you work hard to make your dreams a reality.

2019 will be better and I know that!
I will keep working on it, and I will keep sharing the steps I work on so you can get an idea or maybe two to do with your own business.
The formula is not magic.
You need to follow the training (not once, maybe twice or even more) work on your website, create your own style, and share it on Social Media.
You will get your followers and you will get to know what content they are interested in to get from you.
Then, you will get a guideline to work on it.

This is really fantastic, super results. You deserve it after working so hard.
Recently I got also an email of Pinterest, they had removed a pin on vaccines. I find it very sad that they are cracking down on alternative medicine.

Don't get sad about it, I got many of those emails in the past, Pinterest used to remove many of my PINs in the past.
If you're interested to keep that pin on vaccines on your Pinterest account to help your followers and readers, you can change the keywords on it.
They don't read the photos but the keywords, you can make a new PIN to share to get visitors to that post on your website.

Posting and sharing your content work. I have tested on one my FB pages and the more you share, the more 'matured' your page becomes until it reaches to a level that you don't have to share everyday like you just started. Thanks for some of the useful tips.
